Presents a study that examined the mating system, genetic diversity, and population genetic structure of Leguminosae through an electrophoretic survey based on the Virgin Jungle Reserve compartments in Peninsular Malaysia. Distribution of genetic variation within and among populations; Identification of genetically unique populations for conservation; Effective population sizes of Leguminosae for the maintenance of genetic diversity.
