Abstract

The article reports on the evidence obtained by scientists from Lund in Sweden for the existence of element 115. Topics discussed include the symbol Cp proposed by scientists at the Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung in Darmstadt, Germany, the postulation of several proto-elements, and the element name "mosleyum" being ruled out on the basis that they referred to elements that were once suggested and then disapproved.
