Abstract

The article discusses the updates on the implementation of globally harmonized system of classification and labelling of chemicals (GHS) in Korea and the revision of industrial safety and health act (ISHA) in relation to GHS. It states that the revised ISHA will allow continued use of the existing hazard communication system until June 30, 2008. It also states that other revisions of the chemical-related regulations will follow soon to facilitate the implementation of the GHS by 2008.
