Abstract: This scientific article considers the issues and development of tax audit in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the course of this research was studied the work of scientists in the field of tax audit and were identified the main approaches in determining the category "tax audit". The author examined the introduction of the notion of "audit of taxes", as well as "audit of the effectiveness of tax administration" according to the Law on State Audit and Financial Control of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Abstract: The article reveals the main theoretical and practical issues related to the integration of Central Asian countries, one of the key problems of national and regional policy since the early 1990s. The position of Kazakhstan, the creation of a single economic space and the Union of the Central Asian region is outlined. The main milestones of the integration process in Central Asia on the transition from the complex development of a single country to the integrated development of the region are indicated. Objective and subjective factors that impede the integration of Central Asian countries are analyzed, the basics of the functioning of integration processes as well as the prospects for their development are revealed.
