Abstract

The article discusses a study that investigated the difference between workaholism and work engagement over a period of seven months on 1967 Japanese employees involved in several occupations. It states the researchers of the study expected according to cross sectional study conducted earlier that woraholism will lead to low life satisfaction and ill health and vice versa in the employees that were engaged in work.
