Abstract

The article discusses a study which revealed that c-Abl regulates Fli-1 phosphorylation in dermal fibroblasts obtained from systemic sclerosis (SSc) patients. It mentions the study analyzed Fli-1 phosphorylation in response to TGFβ, and demonstrated that c-Abl kinase activity is required for nuclear localization of PKCδ. It is mentioned the study used Western blotting, real-time quantitative reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction, and immunocytochemistry techniques.
