Abstract

The article presents a study which investigated the effectiveness of a one-step surgery with multipotent stem cells for the treatment of large full-thickness chondral defects of the knee. In the study, bone marrow-obtained multipotent stem cells (MSC) and a second-generation matrix were used. Among the methods used in the study are radiographs, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and visual analog scale (VAS).
