Abstract

The article examines the resettlement services provided by the Irish government to Syrian refugees and asylum seekers as part of its commitment to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees-led resettlement programme. Topics include the financial assistance for refugees to support in their first year of transition, the Programme for a Partnership Government which commits to offer safe haven and integration of refugees and the concerns on the state's differential treatment of refugees.
