This article discusses the influence of learning support processes and resources in the knowledge of Chemical Laboratory skills of high school students in Ternate Island. The learning process of chemistry in high school especially on laboratory, related to time/schedule allocation, practical purpose and achievement indicator in skill area become the focus of discussion on this aspect. While the supporting resources of learning, more emphasized on aspects of facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of educators, laboratory buildings, tools and chemicals that are based on the value of accreditation Senior High School in Ternate Island. in this study using 3 methods of collecting data such as survey techniques in schools, interview with teachers in schools and tests students' lab skills. The results showed that the knowledge of high school students' lab skills on Ternate Island is getting higher in schools with better accreditation. Skill Knowledge of High School Students in Ternate Island is still in the low category on the glass organizing aspect at the laboratory.

Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary that includes a combination of mechanics, electronics, control systems, and computer science. The main objective of mechatronics learning is to establish a comprehensive mindset in the development of mechatronic systems. Project Based Learning (PBL) is an appropriate method for use in the learning process of mechatronic. The use of PBL by following the V model in system development process is expected to encourage the achievement of the main goal of learning in mechatronics lab. Demonstration of knowledge during the practical work done by drafting product development procedures documents, presentations, and project demo. The test result of mechatronics lab course based on PBL in Electronics Engineering Bandung State Polytechnic led to the conclusion that the model is acceptable and desirable to be passed with a few improvements. In addition, learners also feel there is a new challenge in following the PBL-based practicum.

The objective of this research is to explore the Dynamic Capability Pattern, furthermore to observe how motivational and sociological factors impact the occurrence of stagnancy of MSMEs in Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach – A qualitative approach is applied with Open Questions Interviews towards 10 (ten) MSME actors in Indonesia who represent a range of industries including food and beverage, fashion retail, and the chemical raw materials sector The findings of this study underscore several key points: SMEs consistently exhibit dynamic capabilities, particularly in the stages of sensing and seizing opportunities, however they frequently encounter challenges when striving to advance to a transformational stage. Continuous engagement in sensing and seizing cycles is crucial for MSMEs to prosper and progress to the next level of development. However, underdeveloped SMEs encounter challenges in re-engaging these cycles effectively. Mentorship from experienced communities or business groups can enhance SMEs' willingness and ability to pursue further development. Motivational and sociological factors play a significant role in influencing dynamic capabilities within Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Research Limitations - As a qualitative study, this research used a limited sample of participants from the Food & Beverage, and Fashion retail sectors to acquire insights. Therefore, it is highly recommended that future research be conducted on a larger scale, involving a more diverse range of participants from various business sectors, to validate the cyclical patterns and factors influencing the Dynamic Capabilities of MSMEs in Indonesia. To the best of the author's understanding and knowledge, employing a qualitative approach in this research marks an early effort to thoroughly comprehend the consistency of Dynamic Capability Pattern, motivational and sociological forces that shape the decisions of MSMEs regarding their potential transformation. Indonesia has numerous lakes; however, research on the spatiotemporal sediment quality and source identification in lakes remains limited. The overaccumulation of heavy metals and nutrients in lakes severely threatens aquatic ecosystems. This study aims to identify potential sources of metallic deposits (Cu, Pb, Cr, Fe, Al, and Cd) and nutrients (TN and TP) in lake-surface sediment, utilizing enrichment factors (EF), geoaccumulation indices (Igeo), potential ecological risk indices (Er), and risk indices (RI). Multivariate statistical analyses, including principal component analysis (PCA) and Pearson's correlation analysis, were conducted to pinpoint pollution sources linked to land use. Eight sampling sites for surface sediment and water were examined in both wet and dry seasons at Menjer Lake, chosen for its diverse applications in tourism, hydropower, floating net cages, and extensive agriculture in its catchment. Correlation and PCA results indicated that Pb, Fe, and Al mainly originate from tourism, while Al, Fe, TN, and TP are associated with agriculture. The highest average loading from land use was observed in agriculture (> 0.8), floating net cages (> 0.76), and tourism (> 0.68). Furthermore, the highest loading from nutrients and all metals were TP (> 0.71) and all metals (> 0.35), respectively. Ecological risk assessment revealed low to moderately polluted EFs and Igeo in the dry season. However, Menjer Lake's Er and RI for heavy metals were generally classified as unpolluted. This study aims to compare the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and Natural Disasters on the Hajj and Umrah industries. This pilgrimage substantially contributes to foreign exchange earnings; therefore, the negative potential caused by disasters must be a significant concern for policymakers in this sector. In recent years, religious-based tourism, especially the hajj and umrah (the out-ofseason pilgrimage to Mecca), has experienced significant rise of demand worldwide. To explore the impact of various disasters on this industry, using the purposive sampling method, semistructured interviews were conducted with travel agents in Bandung over the course of two months. The findings from this research are that there is a sharp difference in the destructive impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic when compared to natural disasters. In both instances, the companies suffered from external and internal pressures. The internal problems are the loss of revenue while they still need to pay employee salaries, customers' demands for refunds, and the uncertainty whether they could re-open their business. Meanwhile, externally, they have been faced with strict regulations on health protocols, the weakening global economy, increased operational costs, and ever-changing policies made by the governments of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Financial statements are information on how a company is performing. In order for the company's performance to look good and attract investors, managers may perform dysfunctional behavior on financial statements. Factors that can trigger dysfunctional behavior are conditions of profitability, solvency, liquidity and firm size. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the condition of the company can affect the manager’s dysfunctional behavior. The population in this study are transportation companies that "go public". The sample was determined based on a purposive technique consisting of 10 Indonesian transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016-2020 period. Data testing is done by using logistic regression. The results showed that partially Profitability, Solvency, Liquidity, and Firm Size had no significant effect on managers' dysfunctional behavior.Managers of companies that have high or low profitability, solvency and liquidity perform (not perform) dysfunctional behavior. Likewise, managers of large and small companies both may engage in (not engage in) dysfunctional behavior. Therefore, investors need to be careful in investing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Research on dental attendance conducted in Indonesia remains scarce. Moreover, studies on the association of sociodemographic factors and oral health behaviors with dental attendance are limited. This study aims to analyze the association of sociodemographic factors and oral health behaviors with dental attendance among adults in Indonesia. This cross-sectional study was conducted between February and March 2021 in Indonesia using a self-administered online questionnaire that was distributed via social media. The questionnaires consisted of sociodemographic and oral health behaviors. Univariate, bivariate, and logistic regression was performed to analyze dental attendance and associated factors. A total of 802 Indonesian adults were enrolled in the study. A statistically significant difference was found between gender, occupation, frequency of toothbrushing, type of toothbrush used, use of dental floss, use of mouthwash, and tongue cleaning. Females, employed, and being married had higher odds ratios for dental attendance. There was a significant association between the use of a soft-bristle toothbrush, mouthwash, and dental floss with a dental visit (odds ratio [OR] = 1.838, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.388, 2.433; OR = 2.065, 95% CI = 1.527, 2.793; and OR = 6.673, 95% CI = 3.135, 14.206), respectively. Individuals with better oral health behaviors have a tendency to visit the dentist. For those with lower oral health behaviors, oral health programs are needed to improve awareness of the need for a dental visit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to investigate factors affecting budget implementation among local governments in Indonesia, where rules are relatively strict and risks of facing corruption charges are high. Design/methodology/approach: This study employs regression analyses using a sample of 1,151 local government-years. Findings: This study finds that the level of budget implementation is affected by the leadership factors (i.e. mayors' term, tenure and age) and the proportion of capital expenditures. The level of budget implementation is relatively lower when the mayor is in the second term, is in the early years of the five-year tenure and is over 60 years old. Higher proportion of capital expenditures also reduces the level of budget implementation. Originality/value: This study contributes to the literature by presenting empirical evidence as to what factors explain the variations in the level of budget implementation among local governments especially under strict rules and a risky environment. Abstract: The present study was undertaken to find the antioxidant value of certain medicinal plants in South Kalimantan in Indonesian. Antioxidants have been reported to prevent oxidative damage caused by free radical and can be used in cardiovascular and anti-inflammatory diseases. The amount of total flavanoids and radical scavenging activity has been studied. Major amount of flavonoid were determined in kasturi fruit followed by leaf of kelakai, stem of gerunggang, and root pasak bumi. However, kelakai, kasturi, pasak bumi, and gerunggang extracts potent of antioxidant by chelating effect on ferrous ions, hydroxyl radical scavenging, and hydrogen peroxide scavenging.
