Abstract

The article focuses on the study of efficacy comparison of dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine and artemisinin-naphthoquine (AN) in adult patients with uncomplicated malaria in Indonesia. The trial included the modified World Health Organization (WHO) inclusion and exclusion criteria. 401 patients of malaria were taken for study and evaluated by physical examination, thick and thin smears microscopy and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). It was found that both drugs are effective.
