Detailed mathematical reasoning abilities can help students to understand higher mathematical abilities, including proving, problem-solving, and critical thinking. However, based on surveys and research, students' mathematical reasoning abilities are low and require significant attention. Therefore, this study aims to gain a detailed picture of the mathematical reasoning abilities of students who got the social cognitive learning (SCL) model and students who got the problem-based learning (PBL) model by considering the students' mathematical self-efficacy (MSE). The study used a quasi-experimental Nonequivalent post-test-only group design with 70 students from class 11 SMA in one school in Bandung. The data collection used a Mathematical Reasoning Ability test and a mathematical Self-efficacy Questionnaire to classify MSE levels as low, moderate, or high. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and a 3x2 factorial design. According to the study results, students taught using the SCL model had better mathematical reasoning abilities than those taught using the PBL model. Moreover, students with high MSE levels exceed low MSE levels in math abilities. The SCL model enhances students' mathematical reasoning abilities and expands the range of social cognitive theory's applicability of mathematics.

Indonesian physicians working in rural and remote areas must be equipped not only with generic competencies but also with the attributes and skills necessary to provide health care services without compromising quality. This study sought to reach a consensus on the attributes and competencies that are viewed as essential and important for working effectively as an early career doctor in rural and remote practice in Indonesia. A two-round Delphi study was conducted by reference to 27 consenting physicians working in rural and remote Indonesia. Forty-three items covering 9 attributes and 34 competencies were sent to these physicians to be rated on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5 in terms of their importance for effective rural and remote practice. Nine attributes and 29 competencies progressed to Round 2. All nine attributes and 29 competencies were identified as essential or important for junior physicians' ability to be effective in their practice. The essential attributes included professional quality related to prioritising the rural community. The essential competencies included medical skills, professional behaviour, interprofessional skills, health promotion and connection to the rural community. The consensus thus reached on these essential and important attributes and competencies can inform curriculum development for the undergraduate and postgraduate training of junior rural and remote physicians.

This study aims to analyse the learning needs of college students with special needs, develop a Universal Design for Learning based learning application named AJAR MBK, and assess the efficiency of the AJAR MBK application. It used a research and development model adapted from the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) development model. Our analysis results showed the learning needs of college students with special needs, which were used in the AJAR MBK learning application development. Further, the AJAR MBK's feasibility test results showed 4.56 and 4.67 scores from the experts in learning materials and media, respectively. Both feasibility scores were classified as very feasible. Meanwhile, the average feasibility score from the students with special needs was 4.6, categorized as very feasible. Our last analysis results showed that the developed learning media was effective to be used as presented by students' average final score in the education for children with spectrum autism course that increased by 15.4% from their pre-test score. The higher post-test score than the pre-test score confirmed that the AJAR MBK is effective to be used by students with special needs in the education for children with spectrum autism course.

The mathematical literacy ability of Indonesian pupils is still relatively low, as indicated by Indonesia's score of 379 for mathematical literacy in PISA 2018. Paying attention to the learning process such as the teaching materials used in learning, is one of ways to increase mathematical literacy skills. To strengthen students' mathematical literacy skills, it is great for building qualified mathematics teaching materials with the nuances of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) which are supported by the information and communication technology (ICT)-assisted Preprospec (Prepare, Problem Solving, Presentation and Conclusion) Learning Model. The research method used in this study is research and development (R&D), with the main reference of 4D-model development by Thiagarajan, whose stages are limited to define, design, and develop. The results showed that the feasibility test on teaching materials obtained the total average percentage of validator I to validator V, respectively, 90.19, 95.45, 93.90, 91.95, and 97.95 with very eligible criteria. It is easy to understand by students with a readability score of ? = 0.109 > [alpha] = 0.05 or Cochran's Q = 13.091, and it can improve students' mathematical literacy skills, as evidenced by the Wilcoxon test and a gain normalization result of 485.

Many factors in teaching chemistry influence students' soft skills and learning motivation. An attractive model is important in determining students' success in chemistry learning. This research aims to determine the level of soft skill abilities and students' learning motivation in implementing chemoentrepreneurship through project-based learning. The research methodology is quasi-experimental. In this study, 60 students were randomly selected from 162 MIPA class students who were grouped into 30 students in the experimental class and 30 in the control class. To determine the level of students' soft skill abilities and learning motivation, a survey was conducted on their learning activities. The N-gain value of learning motivation in the experimental class and control class was obtained at 0.68 and 0.40 (medium), while the N-gain value of soft skills was obtained at 0.63 (medium) and 0.28 (low). The percentage of learning motivation and soft skills in the experimental class with an average post-test of 84.68% and 80.54% (high), while in the control class with an average post-test of 73.53% and 68.33% (medium). The student soft skill and learning motivation hypothesis test findings show a substantial difference between the experimental and control classes.

The purpose of this study was to prove the factors that influence the use of online learning platforms used in the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used quantitative methods to analyze the validity and reliability of items and to test hypotheses. This study employed the theory of UTAUT2 models with several other variables. The total participants in this questionnaire were 175 people: lecturers, teachers, and students at the university and were randomly drawn. Consists of ten independent variables and one dependent variable. The findings of this study on ten hypotheses were only two accepted and eight rejected but. the authenticity of this study was never investigated about the purpose of using the Zoom platform during the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of education in Indonesia.

This study aimed to address three vital issues applying lesson study in EFL literature review writing course, namely to explain the effect of applying Facebook aided lesson study instruction model on the students' comprehension of literature review patterns/moves and literature review writing ability, to compare the effect of Facebook-aided lesson study and traditional teaching instruction model, and to elaborate the correlation between students' literature review patterns comprehension and their literature writing ability. Experimental research was employed to examine those three potentials. This research involved 30 EFL learners, with 15 studying in a Facebook-aided lesson study instruction and 15 in a traditional classroom. Results indicated that the implementation of Facebook-aided lesson study in an EFL setting could not improve students' literature review comprehension, but this teaching approach could enhance students' literature writing ability. Finally, the positive correlation between EFL students' literature review comprehension and their literature writing ability was found from the study. Implementing a lesson study activities plan, do, and see using a Facebook-aided media in EFL teaching and learning context is recommended. This study could not comprehensively explore online teacher interactions during the Facebook discussion as it was more emphasized on outcome-based learning. The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on increasing procrastination of study assignments (academic procrastination) in Islamic Religious Education in Senior High Schools. This occurs because students have low self-regulated learning (SRL), and on the other hand, have high social media intensity. This study aims to examine the relationship between SRL and the intensity of social media with academic procrastination. This research is quantitative using the SRL scale, academic procrastination scale, and social media intensity questionnaire for data collection. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula in order to obtain a sample of 118 students. The data analysis technique used regression analysis. The results showed: (1) there was a significant negative relationship between self-regulated learning and academic procrastination with a value of r = -4.125 and a value of p = 0.00 (p <0.05); (2) there is a significant positive relationship between the intensity of social media and academic procrastination with r=5.111 and p=0.00 (p<0.05); (3) there is a significant positive relationship between self-regulated learning and the intensity of social media simultaneously with academic procrastination with a value of F=15.106 and a value of p=0.00 (p<0.05); and (4) the effective contribution (R[subscript 2]) of the two variables is 30.5%. Thus, self-regulated learning and the intensity of social media can be predictors of PAI's academic procrastination.

Cheating and plagiarism have been crucial issues among students studying either at high school or undergraduate levels. This present study aims to reveal the cheating and plagiarism practices among pre-service teachers in their undergraduate program at one Islamic university in Indonesia. As Muslim teacher candidates, the respondents are urged to uphold academic integrity and honesty. Thus, this study seeks to provide data on how serious the academic ethics immersed in Muslim pre-service teachers. The method implemented for this study was a cross-sectional survey. The respondents were students enrolled in the Faculty of Education, which comprises several departments in the education fields. Results indicate that respondents were recorded as having morally ethical on one aspect of academic integrities, 95% never paid someone else for the exam, 75% never changed answers after the marking process, and 50% declared rarely copy an answer. Yet, there was also a display of less ethical attitude on some other academic behaviors driven by cultural factors. Thus, some teaching implications are highlighted for teachers and students to combat cheating and plagiarism practices among pre-service teachers in Indonesian Islamic universities.

The primary goal of this study is to explore what makes teachers accept Google Classroom (GCR). GCR platform is an emerging technology that could support online learning activities by offering outstanding benefits such as usability, flexibility, and task adaptability. Many of the students in Indonesia have already used the GCR platform since the government has tried to provide it as a free online learning tool to support learning activities during the pandemic. However, there is limited understanding of users' behavior, especially Indonesian students' acceptance of the GCR platform. The model is tested by administering the online questionnaire to 261 university students in Indonesia. The extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology Model (UTAUT) model has been applied to observe users' acceptance of GCR. The result Performance expectancy (PE), Effort expectancy (EE) Social Influence (SI), Facilitating Conditions (FC), Trust of Internet (TI) and Trust of Government (TG) considerably affected users' intention to use the GCR. Moreover, Trust of Internet (TI) and Trust of Government (TG) also knowingly impacted Performance expectancy (PE).

Purpose: This study developed and applied the chemistry learning module integrated with green chemistry and ethnoscience to develop generic skills of science and soft skills of conservation of high school students in Central Java, Indonesia. Methods: The participants consisted of Chemistry education students (22 students), students from MAN I Semarang (68 students), students from SMA Negeri 1 Bae Kudus (69 students), and students from SMA Negeri I Semarang (69 students). Development of chemistry learning modules was conducted through stages of defining, designing, and development to produce appropriate and effective chemical learning modules. Data collection techniques passed the test instrument to measure the mastery of generic science skills, observations and questionnaires to find out the soft skills of conservation, and the students' responses to the chemistry learning module and the developed scientific approach. Data analyses included feasibility analysis, module effectiveness and chemistry learning approach. Analysis of generic science skills and conservation soft skills was carried out through N-gain and t-test. Findings: The results of this study revealed that the chemistry learning module integrated with green chemistry and ethnoscience was feasible and effective. Generic science skills and students' conservation soft skills achieved moderate and high performance levels based on N-gain test results; as well as students' cognitive learning outcomes were significant. Significance: The chemistry learning module integrated with green chemistry and ethnoscience was feasible, valid, reliable and effective to develop generic skills of science and soft skills of conservation of among high school students.

Background: Older adults experience progressive decline in various organs and changes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the drugs in the body which lead to an increased risk of medication-related problems. Potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) and medication complexity are key factors contributing to adverse drug events in the emergency department (ED). Objective: To estimate the prevalence and investigate the risk factors of PIMs and medication complexity among older adults admitted to the ED. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted among patients aged > 60 years admitted to the ED of Universitas Airlangga Teaching Hospital in January - June 2020. PIMs and medication complexity were measured using the 2019 American Geriatrics Society Beers Criteria® and Medication Regimen Complexity Index (MRCI), respectively. Results: A total of 1005 patients were included and 55.0% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 52 -- 58%) of them received at least one PIM. Whereas, the pharmacological therapy prescribed to older adults had a high complexity index (mean MRCI 17.23 + 11.15). Multivariate analysis showed that those with polypharmacy (OR= 6.954; 95% CI: 4.617 -- 10.476), diseases of the circulatory system (OR= 2.126; 95% CI: 1.166 -- 3.876), endocrine, nutritional, and metabolic diseases (OR= 1.924; 95% CI: 1.087 -- 3.405), and diseases of the digestive system (OR= 1.858; 95% CI: 1.214 -- 2.842) had an increased risk of receiving PIM prescriptions. Meanwhile, disease of the respiratory system (OR = 7.621; 95% CI: 2.833 -- 15.150), endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases (OR = 6.601; 95% CI: 2.935 -- 14.847), and polypharmacy (OR = 4.373; 95% CI: 3.540 -- 5.401) were associated with higher medication complexity. Conclusion: In our study, over one in every two older adults admitted to the ED had PIMs, and a high medication complexity was observed. Endocrine, nutritional and metabolic disease was the leading risk factors for receiving PIMs and high medication complexity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Organic food possesses positive benefits for both the environment (balance) and local farmers (enhancing competitiveness) in Indonesia. Nevertheless, to date, the level of organic food consumption as eco-friendly food in Indonesia is still limited. The present research aimed to provide significant contributions through the evaluation of factors affecting the intention to purchase of organic food in developing country context. It was conducted in five major Indonesian cities and involved 400 respondents (as the research samples). The determination of sampling criteria used the purposive sampling where the potential respondents were in the middle-class groups. The descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analysis were employed to measure the influence of the consumer`s perception and preference on purchase intention regarding organic food. The result of SEM analysis indicated that the intention to purchase of organic food are significantly determined by consumer perceptions and consumer preferences. The implications of this research provide important guidance for policy interventions and marketing decisions aimed at sustaining economic growth in organic food industries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper puts Indonesia in the spotlight assessing the country's ability to combat corruption through ICT enabled governance. The research firstly tries to define governance through the different lens of intergovernmental organisations. This is followed by a comparative analysis of different situational characteristics of governance in developing and developed countries. The paper then explores the role of governance in Indonesia, highlighting the existing barriers, and potential drivers to the implementation of ICT in Indonesia. It is concluded that ICT enabled good governance needs to be in place to support the eradication of corruption in Indonesia. Corruption in Indonesia is considered systematic as the practice is prevalent across public organisations in the country. This study contributes to the information systems discipline by offering new insights into the issues of implementing ICT enabled open governance in developing countries such as Indonesia. Abstract: Housing has an important role in the process of human resources development. Housing is also a form of manifestation of an orderly social environment through the internal social interactions. There is a general understanding that the housing sector is one of the sectors that is particularly important with regard to sustainable development. This is because housing embodies social, environmental, as well as economic dimensions. Environmental problems can affect the environmental quality of residential housing. This study aims to assess the level of environmental quality of Sendangmulyo mass housing. The methods of analysis used are quantitative descriptive analysis tools with a frequency distribution and Likert scale. The development of mass housing problems tends to experience a decrease in the quality of the housing environment that may affect sustainability. It has attracted concerns and community involvement in carrying out maintenance and management of residential environment. The results of this research show that the community cohesion in Sendangmulyo depends on social interaction, sense of belonging and community engagement. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
