Norileca hathai Aneesh, Nashad and Kumar sp. nov., parasitizing the blacktip trevally, Caranx heberi (Bennett, 1830) (Carangidae) from off Burmanallah, South Andaman, India is described and illustrated. Norileca hathai sp. nov., the fourth species of Norileca Bruce, 1990, is characterized by: body twisted to one side; small body size (10–12 mm); dark stripes on pereonites 5–7, pleonites 1–5 and pleotelson, except the medial and posterio-lateral margins; coxae 3–7, 0.5 times as long as pereonites; presence of robust setae on the propodus of pereopods 1–3; pleotelson round and 0.85 as long as wide; uropod 0.85 as long as pleotelson; maxilla both lobes with 2 robust setae. Brucethoa bharata gen. et sp. nov. is described from the host fish Glossanodon macrocephalus Bineesh and Endo, 2019 (Argentinidae), at depths of 300–600 metres from the south-west coast of India. This monotypic genus is characterised by a head weakly immersed in pereonite 1, dorsum strongly vaulted, pereonites 6 and 7 with posterolateral margin expanded and coxae not visible in dorsal view, relatively wide pleon, pleonite ventrolateral margins produced with lateral gaps evident, both antennae slender, with antennula slightly longer than antenna, and large pleopod rami that extend laterally well beyond the pleotelson margins. Ovigerous females were found in the branchial cavity of the hosts and have proximally thickened oostegites with the posterior marsupium partly enclosed by two sub-rectangular fleshy lobes. All life stages of the new species are described [including females (ovigerous and non-ovigerous), male, transitional and larvae (premanca and manca)]. The species is currently known only from the type locality and the type host. A revised key to the marine branchial cymothoid genera of the world is provided. The occurrence of Platylecanium nepalense Takagi (Hemiptera, Coccomorpha, Coccidae) in India is reported. The scale was collected on leaflets of ornamental palms viz., areca palm, Dypsis lutescens (H.Wendl.) Beentje & J. Dransf (Arecaceae) and Indian date palm, Phoenix sylvestris (L.) Roxb. (Arecaceae) growing in front yard of residences in Meghalaya, northeast India. This paper provides a detailed description of a new species of genus Aspidonema isolated from mint leaf beetles (Chrysolina herbacea), and is the first report of a bunonematid nematode from beetles in India. Aspidonema kashmirensis sp. nov. is characterised by females having small, asymmetrical body (L = 224-337µm, a = 13.1-20.3, b = 3.2-4.2, c = 7.2-10.7, c' = 4.0-5.7, V = 53.3-60.0), with the right side body cuticle ornamented with shields, warts and networks while the left side is provided with five longitudinal ridges. The shields are transversely-ovoid, having strongly sclerotized borders and a pair of elliptical slits for the underlying warts. Fine pores observed under SEM are present on the surface of the shields. Males have a bifid tail; long, thin, free spicules, distally hooked gubernaculum; asymmetrical, leptoderan bursa and eight pairs of genital papillae.
