"Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan", the Self-Reliant India campaign of2020, was a clarion call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the vision of a new India, kick-starting several independent initiatives across the five pillars, viz., Economy, Infrastructure, Systems, Demography and Demand1. The paper discusses one such technology-driven initiative called CollabFiles, envisaged and developed for use by government enterprises across the country. CollabFiles helps officials and staff of Government of India (GoI) to create and collaborate on documents and spreadsheets using web and mobile devices. Several innovative steps were taken to design this platform such as using principles of Enterprise Architecture (EA) to arrive at solution architecture, Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication ensuring secured access, interoperability with other government applications, secured storage at government cloud, a robust archival policy and a firm Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity (DR/BC) plan. It shares details of the pioneering approach to develop a sustainable platform, meeting the needs of government officials on a day-to-day basis. The paper gives the current status of implementation, defines critical success factors for effective roll-out, and also discusses how certain challenges were addressed. In HITAM Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) was launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on August 2018. The main objectives of this initiative were building institutional capacity, providing professional support such that the villages which lack lack the technical support can be helped for the better. Higher educational Institutions in our nation interact with rural India, identifies challenge and come up with solution. It connects institutions of higher education with local community. This programme involves interacting with rural communities and using technologies for their development. The main purpose of this initiative is introducing good education in those areas that are far from accessing education. It creates good relationship between society and higher educational institutes by this the livelihood of rural areas can be changed. The mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to enable higher educational institutions to work with with the people of rural india in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. Purpose: Coronavirus outbreak was first reported towards the end of 2019 and has now been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Post declaration, India announced lockdown and various guidelines were issued by Health authorities worldwide for the organizations to function in this emergency aeon. Different organizations strategized differently to respond to COVID 19 pandemic. The aim was to implement COVID 19 guidelines across all the centres of a chain of Eye hospitals in India in short span of time overcoming the challenges.Methods: A SMART strategy was confabulated within the team. There were numerous challenges like lack of time, rapidly changing guidelines, no travelling scenarios, training and educating the staff in huge numbers, rapidly evolving situation, change management, need of increased vigilance, and language barrier at certain centres, sustaining quality assurance and motivating the staff in stressful times. The challenges were surpassed using a power packed strategy, dedicated efforts and team work grasping the available tools and technology from a single location. This template can serve us and other hospitals to respond in a better way for similar future challenges.Results: The COVID 19 protocols were implemented across all the centres successfully. The entire Quality assurance system drifted to online platform and education and awareness methods took the digital thread. Teamwork synergized with the aforementioned things and we came out with flying colours achieving the goals in short span of time overcoming all the barriers.Conclusion: Difficult times bring challenges and challenges teach us the innovative ways to convert them into opportunities. Background: Immunization coverage in Chhattisgarh has never been abysmal but the improvement is rather insignificant over the years. Some more interventions are essential to strengthen different aspects of immunization services such as micro-planning, cold-chain and logistics management, monitoring/supportive supervision, and community mobilization. The present study was considered as a part of ongoing UNICEF funded Project on Supportive Supervision of Routine Immunization in Rajnandgaon district undertaken by the Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College, and Rajnandgaon CG with the objectives to observe key quality parameters at Ice Lined Refrigerator (ILR) points and to assess knowledge and practice of Vaccine Cold Chain Handler (VCCH). Methods: A facility-based, cross-sectional study (repeat survey) was conducted from May 2017 to June 2018 in the Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. First phase of the study was conducted from May 2017 to November 2017 and repeat survey was conducted from December 2017 to June 2018. Structured questionnaires as a part of standard tool prescribed by Government of India was used for the collection of required data. Results: The cumulative score status out of all the 50 centres in Rajnandgaon district showed improvement in 35 centres. The score of important components such as vaccine management, equipment maintenance, temperature monitoring, and monitoring and supervision information improved, but that of background information and human resource component decreased. Conclusion: Supportive supervision strategy can be more beneficial in improving the cold chain maintenance process provided that components such as logistic, infrastructure, and manpower are in place to enhance service delivery. India's software sector presents the case of an internationally competitive high-tech industry in the context of a rapidly developing economy. Human resources management practices play a very crucial role in achieving the organization's goals and maintain the competitive advantage. HRM practices refer to organizational activities directed at managing the pool of human resource and ensuring that the resources are employed towards the fulfilment of organizational goals. The success of an organization depends upon several factors but the most crucial factor that affects the organization performance is its employee. Human resources play an integral role in achieving an innovative and high-quality product/ service. The present study is an attempt to examine and analyse the impact of human resource practices on job satisfaction of IT companies employees. In the study, the estimated regression model identified that the HRM practices like Training, Performance Appraisal, Team Work and Compensation has significant impact on job satisfaction. Quality of Work Life in an organization is essential for the smooth running of organization and success of its employees. Given the amount of time spent at workplaces; quality of work life becomes more important for the employees and the organizations. If employees perceive an organization as offering a good Quality of Work in return for their contribution to an organization, then it is likely that employees will report higher levels of performance and job involvement. Quality of Work Life (QWL) can be defined as the satisfaction of an employee develops for his or her career, allowing them to enhance their personal lives through their work and work environment. Various factors affect an employee's Quality of Work Life. This research study attempted to find out the factors that have an impact and significance influence on quality of work life of academicians in Indore City. Data were collected from 85 faculties of various institutes of Indore city. Factor analysis was used to identify the factors, which are contributing in Quality of Work Life. The study identified seven factors with the help of SPSS software namely: HRD Climate, Challenging Work Environment,Motivational Climate, Disciplined Work Life,Organizational commitment, Team Work, Healthy Employee- Management Relations.
