Global warming has risen to prominence as a major environmental concern in the modern era. The amount of greenhouse gases discharge into the environment increases year after year. Carbon dioxide remains the most powerful greenhouse gas, considerably contributing to global warming. CO2 emissions account for roughly 82% of all greenhouse gas emissions. The cement industry contributes significantly to CO2 emissions. India is the globally second largest cement maker, trailing only China, and is attempting to diminish the cement amount used in concrete mix. The viability of totally substituting fly ash for cement and partially substituting quarry sand (QS) for natural river sand (RS) in geopolymer concrete was studied in this research. Utilizing this form of concrete can will make reduction in cement use and CO2 emissions. This project work utilizes the industrial waste product into the concrete production. M30 grade of concrete is adopted for this study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
