Abstract

The article presents the results of an analytical study investigating library services, resources, and information technology (IT) infrastructure in medical college libraries in Gujarat, India. The study's goals and mixed case study and questionnaire methodology are described, and the finding that IT infrastructure and library automation are at what the authors describe as an insufficient state of development is commented on. The suggestions that more focus should be given to human resources development is also offered.
