Abstract

The article discusses a study which examines the efficacy of puppet shows on iodine knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of elementary students, as well as its indirect impact on parents and households in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. For the study, researchers analyzed two elementary schools selected by the District Education Department in order to determine the efficacy of iodine education via puppet shows. They found that live puppet performances shows a positive impact on iodine knowledge, attitudes and behaviour of the students.
