Abstract

The article presents a research study for analyzing the impact of conditions like soil temperature, moisture and crop planting depth on the development of the black scurf disease in potato crop at the Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) Haryana Agricultural University's Research farm of Vegetable Science located in Hisar in Haryana, India. Topics discussed include calculation of percent disease incidence (PDI), correlation coefficient between soil and disease incidence and results of the study.
