Petrocodon albinervius D.X. Nong & Y.S. Huang (Gesneriaceae) is described and illustrated as a species new to science occurring in the limestone area of southwestern Guangxi, China. It shows overall most similarity with P. ionophyllus F. Wen, S. Li & B. Pan, P. integrifolius (D. Fang & L. Zeng) A. Weber & Mich. Möller and P. ainsliifolius W.H. Chen & Y.M. Shui in leaf shape, but differs in several characters such as the leaf blade indumentum, leaf veins coloration, the size and shape of bracts, the number of cymes per plant and flowers per cyme, and the shape of the stigma. Besides a diagnosis and detailed description, we also provide ecological information, photographic images, a table and taxonomic notes to distinguish several other morphologically similar Petrocodon species and proposed conservation status for this species. Daphniphyllum peltatum Yan Liu & T. Meng, a new species of Daphniphyllaceae from southwestern Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is mainly similar to D. calycinum Benth. in the shape of leaf blade, lunate anthers, elliptic drupes and the length of infructescence, but it can be easily distinguished by blue green branchlets, peltate leaves, obviously raised midvein and lateral veins on both surfaces. We also provide a key to all species of Daphniphyllum in China, and a table to distinguish the new species from D. calycinum. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Chionographis shiwandashanensis a new species from southern Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. It is similar to C. koidzumiana Ohwi and C. chinensis Krause in habit, but distinguished by oblong-elliptic to oblong bractlike leaves and 6, filiform, regular tepals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Lysionotus fengshanensis Yan Liu & D. X. Nong, a new species of Gesneriaceae from Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. Lysionotus fengshanensis is very similar to L. longipedunculatus (W. T. Wang) W. T. Wang, but differs by the peduncle being 2-4 cm long and purple, corolla campanulate, 2.5-3.0 cm long, 1.5-1.7 cm in diameter at the mouth, filaments slightly geniculate near the middle, apex of filaments with gland and staminodes 3. Hemiboea purpurea Yan Liu & W. B. Xu, a new species of Gesneriaceae from Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to H. follicularis C. B. Clarke, but differs by smaller leaf blades, 3-10×2-5 cm, corolla purple, ca 2.0-2.5 cm long, exserted from the involucre, filaments glandular-puberulent and staminodes 3.
