The article discusses the highlights of the "3rd Biologie Prospective Santorini Conference" that was held in Santorini Island, Greece. The main objective of the conference was to bring the medical profession to collaborate to discuss how variability in the human genome could be used for predicting risk to diseases, screening individual responses to life habits and measuring one's pharmacokinetics and pharmacological responses to drugs. Among the topics addressed during the four sessions were computational biology and pharmacoproteomics.
