The article presents information on a study of an outbreak of oropharyngeal and glandular tularemia in the Republic of Georgia. Tularemia has been known as an infectious disease in Georgia since 1946. A regular vaccination program was conducted in the country during between 1956 and 1985. The study shows that the common symptoms of tularemia are depression and concentration difficulties. It is also found that lymphadenopathy appeared to be of a rather chronic nature, persisting for 4-6 months.
