The article features the Crystal Cathedral in California which is formerly known as the Garden Grove Community Church (GGCC). The GGCC was able to raise financial and organizational resources to erect a small stained-glass chapel within its first two years of operation. It was 1980 when the GGCC became the Crystal Cathedral, a megachurch and an emblem of mediated congregation. The Crystal Cathedral is reportedly in the process of being purchased by the Catholic Church.
