Abstract

The article presents findings of a field survey of permeable pavement surface infiltration rates conducted by the University of Florida at Gainesville. The study has revealed the importance of the regular maintenance of permeable concrete and pavers to sustain high surface infiltration rates. A factor influencing high surface infiltration rates is the siting of permeable pavement applications. It outlines siting and maintenance guidelines for concrete grid pavers.
