The article presents a study that determines the behavior of transport in phosphorus (P) in runoff from sloping fields amended with sewage sludge (SS) under gradients in Fujian province, China. The study is conducted at the Water and Soil Conservation Experimental Station in Xiamen due to its subtropical and marine type climate. It outlines the result of the experiment, which reveals the significant influence of particulate fraction as dominant carriers of P losses. The study also suggests the need to choose lower slopes to reduce the risks of P losses.
