Security interpretations differ between Western and Central Europe. Europe appears united against the Iraq war, detainee policy, and the use of force in international affairs. However, newer NATO members have both participated in and defended American operations. Currently, Poland and the Czech Republic are negotiating with the United States on the installation of a limited ballistic missile system to stop small-scale attacks from Iran, North Korea, or perhaps an unauthorized launch from the Russian Republic. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] more...
