The article offers insights in European trade policy. The author first describes the educational and agricultural policy in the region, then suggests ways on how to improve it. He, then, enumerates the benefits of free international trade and the effects of voluntary export restrictions in the European community. Moreover, he briefly reviews the dumping and unfair trade practices in the region, then enumerates the reasons why both industries and governments find anti-dumping policies a more efficient way to grant protection, compared to explicitly protectionist policies like the emergency provisions of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.
