The article presents various national and regional researches related to plants belonging to the bryophyte group including Brachythecium rivulare, Bryum pallens, and Bucklandiella lamprocarpa. Brachythecium rivulare takes the usual form of mosses which grow in the full spray of a waterfall. Tropical Africa has the only previous record of the species which came from Mount Kenya. Bryum pallens which stem shows red coloration can be found in Zambesi, a fast flowing stream in the Northwestern province of Europe. Bucklandiella lamprocarpa is widely distributed in temperate regions of South Africa including Bolivia.
