In this article, the authors discuss the role of physiatrist and the organization of the rehabilitation of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in Europe. They define TBI as a condition that encompasses a broad spectrum of disorders and remains one of the most challenging problem faced by clinicians. They note that the role of physiatrist in the region is not clearly defined and looks into several surveys regarding the topic. A survey on major TBI experts from the region is also being tackled.
