ELIXIR-EXCELERATE: establishing Europe's data infrastructure for the life science research of the future A new inter-governmental research infrastructure, ELIXIR, aims to unify bioinformatics resources and life science data across Europe, thereby facilitating their mining and (re-)use. Establishing an open data framework for European life science through ELIXIR infrastructure Essential to FAIR data and optimal data reuse is a strategy for data management. Processing and deposition data resources for biodiversity data from the marine metagenome Metagenomic data are a relatively new source of genomic data derived from samples from a wide range of environments, ranging from marine and soil, to the human gut.
