The article focuses on the research work of researcher Peter Davidson on megalithic stone arrangements in coastal areas of western Europe. Earlier, works of researcher Alexander Thom analyzed the importance of navigation in understanding megalithic arrangements and Davidson later concluded that the arrangements could be an approach used by people in the Neolithic period for navigating from one beach to another. Also mentioned are the methods used by Davidson to conduct the research.
