Researchers from the University of Alexandria in Egypt have synthesized and characterized mononuclear Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes decorated with a morpholine/pyrazole s-triazine ligand. These complexes showed potential antimicrobial and anticancer activity, with complex 3 exhibiting the best results against A-549 cancer cells and comparable antibacterial efficiency to gentamycin against Proteus vulgaris.
