Abstract

The article discusses the theft in Western Europe of cancer drugs from various pharmaceutical firms including Roche Holding AG, Eli Lilly & Co., and Johnson & Johnson. Domenico Di Giorgio of Italy's Italian Medicines Agency says organized crime figures are responsible. He cited the Camorra crime syndicate as well as crime networks in Eastern Europe.
