Through a case study of climate change mitigation measures in Delhi, India, the article explores the inadequacies of Asian city governments' climate change policies in general. After explaining the urbanization process in Asia, the author goes on to explore the impact of climate change on informal areas of Asian cities and, more specifically, Delhi. Other topics addressed include energy sustainability, rainwater harvesting, and waste collection in Delhi.
