This article presents information on various socio-political and administrative developments in the U.S. and from around the world. An invitation was made by the Czechoslovak unofficial opposition, Charter 77, to activists from East, West and nonaligned countries to attend a seminar in Prague beginning June 17, 1988. The invitation spoke of overcoming the influence of militaristic and police ideologies and overcoming the machines and ideologies that propagate intolerance and hate. Representatives came from groups in Hungary and Poland as well as from Britain, Italy, West Germany, the Netherlands, India and Puerto Rico.
