The article discusses how various counties have banned smoking. Cuba has banned smoking in enclosed public places and similar bans in other countries have managed to clear the air. In Italy smoking was banned in enclosed public places except in separately ventilated rooms. Bhutan became the first country to prohibit smoking in public, along with all sales of tobacco. Ireland became the first country to ban smoking in virtually all workplaces. In India smoking was banned in public places along with most tobacco ads.
