Abstract

The article presents a study which suggested that in countries such as Cuba, it is convenient to consider the upsets provoked by the stress, especially when dealing with gestating cows, as well as the most adequate time for insemination. In the study, a herd of 118 Holstein cows was selected throughout a year according to completely randomized design. The findings indicated the effect of the warm climate on the reproduction of the Holstein cows.
