The following proposal seeks to explore and reconstruct the initial trajectory of one of the main leftist parties that emerged after the fall of the last military dictatorship in Argentina: the Movement For Socialism (MAS), and in particular the regional Córdoba. As is known, since its foundation in September 1982, the MAS achieved a certain influence within the labor movement through its union currents and also sought to position itself in the renewed election scene. Although research on political activism in general and on the left in particular for the 1980s has emerged in recent years, the experience of activism in provincial regionals continues unexplored, neglected or being read through central documentation/official of these organizations, replicating this bias due to the almost nonexistence of regional archives of the left. Analyzing unpublished documents, flyers and internal partisan circulars of the Cordoba region, we will seek to reconstruct the first years of MAS activism in Córdoba with the intention of contributing to the global knowledge of the post-dictatorship or transitional left, emphasizing the views elaborated around the social order. the democratic transition and the new militant profile that the time suggests building.
