Abstract

The article presents a study on the ability of safety walkarounds in predicting injury risk and reducing injury rates in construction industry. It says that safe workplace, a building construction methodology that involves safety walkarounds, was extensively used in the Dannish construction industry. It states that after analyzing the data from the Copenhagen Metro construction site in Denmark, the results showed that there is no significant link between risk level and injury risk.
