Excavations carried out on the western summit of Turlough Hill in 2016 were a small part of a wider project which has included intensive survey of the hill. Along with the results of these excavations, some details of the other monuments on the hill are presented. Those remains include over 160 circular structures, a large cairn, a labyrinthine enclosure, a large stone enclosure and a linear cairn. The excavations produced little or no artefactual evidence but did further reveal the form of the circular structures and, perhaps most importantly, produced samples of charred material for radiocarbon dating. Ten radiocarbon dates on a range of charred materials were obtained, and it is now possible to confidently date the circular structures to the Late Bronze Age. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
