Abstract

The article summarizes the advances in hydrologic impact research in response to climate change and human activities in China. Topics discussed include the spatiotemporal changes of various components for water cycle processes such as precipitation, runoff and evapotranspiration investigations and efforts in hydroloGIC studies in China associated with lakes, glaciers and snow. Also highlighted are the challenges and opportunities in hydrologic science in China.
