In light of the integration of digitalization and the energy revolution, digitalization can be integrated into the energy industry to develop energy-saving technologies and improve resource allocation efficiency. On the basis of 2013–2019 Chinese provincial panel data, this paper measures the level of green energy efficiency based on the super-EBM-DEA model and analyzes the linear relationship, nonlinear relationship, and potential mechanism between digitalization and green energy efficiency. The findings indicate that (1) overall, both China's digitalization and green energy efficiency formed a steady upward trajectory during the sample period. Digitalization showed a spatial characteristic of extending and spreading from the eastern region to the central and western regions. Green energy efficiency was characterized by obvious regional heterogeneity. (2) Progress in digitalization has a significant driving effect on green energy efficiency. Subdimensional analysis shows that this driving effect mainly comes from digital development and digital transactions. (3) The impact of digitalization on green energy efficiency presents a threshold effect of economic agglomeration (with a threshold of 0.0257 and a marginally increasing, positive driving trend) and population agglomeration (with a threshold of 4.2750 and a marginally decreasing, positive driving trend). (4) Decomposing changes in green energy efficiency into scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency, this study shows that pure technical efficiency gains due to digitalization are the main driver of green energy efficiency improvements. Salix psammophila, classified under the Salicaceae family, is a deciduous, densely branched, and erect shrub. As a leading pioneer tree species in windbreak and sand stabilization, it has played a crucial role in combating desertification in northwestern China. However, different genetic sources of Salix psammophila exhibit significant variations in their effectiveness for windbreak and sand stabilization. Therefore, it is essential to establish a rapid and reliable method for identifying different Salix psammophila varieties. Visible and near-infrared (Vis-NIR) spectroscopy is currently a reliable non-destructive solution for origin traceability. This study introduced a novel feature selection strategy, called qualitative percentile weighted sampling (QPWS), based on the principle of the long tail effect for Vis-NIR spectroscopy. The core idea of QPWS combines weighted sampling and percentage wavelength selection to identify key wavelengths. By employing a multi-threaded parallel execution of multiple QPWS instances, we aimed to search for the optimal feature bands to address the instability issues that can arise during the feature selection process. To address the problem of reduced prediction performance in one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1D-CNN) models after feature selection, we have introduced convolutional autoencoders (CAEs) to reduce the dimensions of wavelengths that are discarded during feature selection. Subsequently, these reduced dimensions are fused with the selected wavelengths, thereby enhancing the model's performance. With our completed model, we selected outstanding models for model fusion and established a decision system for Salix psammophila. It is worth noting that all 1D-CNN models in this study were developed using Bayesian optimization methods. In comparison with principal component analysis (PCA) and full spectrum methods, QPWS exhibits superior predictive performance in the field of machine learning. In the realm of deep learning, the fusion of data combining QPWS with CAE demonstrated even greater potential with an improvement of average accuracy of approximately 2.13% when compared to QPWS alone and a 228% increase in operational speed compared to a model with full spectra. Using the difference-in-difference model and panel data from 283 Chinese cities from 2006 to 2019, this study assesses the effect on CO2 emissions of an innovative city pilot policy and analyzes its mechanism using the mediation effect model. The findings demonstrate that the pilot policy significantly reduces urban carbon emissions overall, and this finding holds even after conducting several stability tests. Innovative pilot cities can cut carbon emissions by 11.5% compared to nonpilot cities and thus significantly impact carbon reduction. Reducing carbon emissions is possible through three mechanisms. These are the enrichment of cultural resources, the development of technological innovation levels, and the optimization of industrial structure. There is a significant lag in how the innovative city pilot policy affects this reduction. The emission reduction effects of innovative pilot policies on different pollution levels, regions, and cities of various sizes are heterogeneous. In the long run, the scope of pilot projects needs enlargement in an orderly manner, and specific policies should be implemented according to local conditions. Meanwhile, advanced technologies are required in cities of different scales to build innovative development mechanisms for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and environmental regulations should be strengthened to implement in urban areas the concept of green and sustainable ecological development. Fiscal decentralization is the source of China's rapid economic growth, but inevitably leads to a surge in total carbon emissions. We verify whether the intermediary mechanism of real estate development and the urban construction investment bonds (UCIB) can share the fiscal pressure of local governments to provide empirical support to clarify and solve the realistic decentralization dilemma. This study conducted a spatial analysis of panel data from 266 Chinese prefecture-level cities from 2006 to 2019 and obtains the following findings. (1) Carbon emissions are spatially correlated, displaying the characteristics of 'one glory and one loss'. (2) Fiscal decentralization drives an increase in carbon emissions over the entire spatial region. (3) The decomposition results show that although fiscal decentralization aggravates local carbon emission growth, it benefits the carbon emission reduction of neighboring regions. (4) The eastern regions' fiscal decentralization does not significantly affect carbon emissions, whereas the central and western regions' fiscal decentralization causes an upsurge in total carbon emissions. (5) Fiscal decentralization has promoted the prosperous development of the real estate industry, which positively influences carbon emissions. (6) The UCIB has a negative moderating effect on fiscal decentralization and carbon emissions, implying that it plays a role in alleviating financial pressure on local governments. Under the system of political centralization and economic decentralization, the expanding scale of land finance and the increasingly severe environmental pressure have jointly become crucial features of China's urban development. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study the intrinsic mechanism of land finance on haze pollution for China's economy to achieve kinetic energy transformation and green development. This paper empirically analyzes the impact of land finance on haze pollution using a dynamic spatial Durbin model based on panel data of 269 prefecture‐level cities in China from 2004 to 2017. The statistical results show that haze pollution has a significant "snowball effect" and space spillover effect. Land finance has a significant positive effect on haze pollution. Land transfer both by agreement and by bid invitation, auction, and listing have significant positive effect on haze pollution. However, the promoting effect of land transfer by agreement on haze pollution is significantly higher than that of land sale by bid invitation, auction, and listing. Furthermore, regional heterogeneity implies that for cities in the eastern region, land finance is conducive to alleviating haze pollution. The new energy demonstration city policy (NEDC), an essential economic system aiming to implement innovative development strategies and energy structure transformations in China, is crucial for solving the current plight of resource-based cities. This paper studies the effect of the implementation of the NEDC on the green total factor productivity (GTFP) of resource-based cities in China; understanding this relation is of great significance for the further promotion of the NEDC. For this purpose, the SBM-undesirable model is employed to measure GTFP. The propensity score matching and difference-in-difference (PSM-DID) model and the mediation effect model are also utilized to empirically examine the impact of the NEDC on GTFP across a dataset of 106 resource-based cities between 2005 and 2016. The empirical results indicate that the NEDC can significantly improve the GTFP of resource-based cities. After both counterfactual and common trend tests are performed, the research conclusion of this paper is still robust. Moreover, the NEDC promotes the GTFP of resource-based cities through structural effects, technological innovation effects, and fiscal support effects. Furthermore, the effect of the NEDC on GTFP is also affected by the regions, sizes, and types of the different resource-based cities. With the deterioration of environmental quality caused by fossil energy use, the research on energy internet and energy misallocation is of critical relevance to achieve low-carbon sustainable development. However, we find that the relevant research that analyzes energy internet and energy misallocation on carbon emissions under the same framework is ignored. For this purpose, the generalized method of moments (GMM), panel threshold model, and spatial analysis (deviation ellipse, hotspot analysis, and geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR)) model were applied to investigate the impact of energy internet and energy misallocation on carbon emissions using panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2004 to 2018. The major statistical results include the following: (1) energy misallocation significantly contributes to carbon emissions, while energy internet inhibits carbon emissions. Energy internet can negatively moderate the positive effect of energy misallocation on carbon emissions. (2) The effect of energy misallocation on carbon emissions reveals an inverted "U-shaped" characteristic of first promoting and later inhibiting, but the inhibiting effect is insignificant. Moreover, the marginal effect of energy misallocation on carbon emissions decreases when the energy internet crosses the second thresholds consecutively, while the marginal effect of the energy internet on carbon emissions shows an inverted "N" shape. (3) Compared with the under-allocated regions, the promotion effect of energy misallocation on carbon emissions and the inhibitory effect of energy internet on carbon emissions are stronger in the over-allocated regions, while the energy internet has a more significant negative moderating effect on energy misallocation. (4) The gravity center of China's carbon emissions gradually shifts to the northwest with time. The longitude of the gravity center (east–west direction) changes greatly, while the latitude of the gravity center (north–south direction) changes less. Besides, the carbon emission hotspot regions centered on Shanxi spread to the neighboring provinces, which form a high-high agglomeration region, and the cold spot region dominated by Qinghai, Guangxi, and Guangdong forms low-low agglomeration characteristics. Finally, the GTWR model shows that the impact of energy internet and energy misallocation on carbon emissions shows significant hierarchical, banded, or block-like characteristics in spatial distribution. As the digital economy develops rapidly and the network information technology advances, new development models represented by the network economy have emerged, which have a crucial impact on green economic growth. However, the relevant previous studies lacked the role of analyzing the direct and indirect effects of internet development on green economic growth at the prefecture-level city level. For this purpose, this paper aims to examine the intrinsic mechanism of the impact of internet development on green economic growth and provide empirical support for cities and regions in China to increase internet construction. Furthermore, the mixed model (EBM), which includes both radial and non-radial distance functions, is applied to calculate the green economic growth index. Fixed effect model and mediation effect model are also employed to test influence mechanisms of the internet development on green economic growth using panel data of 269 prefecture-level cities in China from 2004 to 2019. The statistical results reveal that internet development has contributed significantly to green economic growth. When the internet development level increases by 1 unit, the green economic growth level increases by an average of 5.0372 units. However, regional heterogeneity is evident between internet development and green economic growth, that is, the promoting effect of internet development on green economic growth is gradually enhanced from the eastern region to the western region. We also find that internet development guides industrial structure upgrading improves environmental quality and accelerates enterprise innovation, which indirectly contributes to green economic growth. And internet development mainly achieves green economic growth through enterprise innovation. Based on the above findings, we concluded that policymakers should not only strengthen the guiding role of social actors to promote the stable development of the internet industry, but also foster the construction of the three models of "internet+industry integration," "internet+environmental governance," and "internet+enterprise innovation" to promote green economic growth. China is a major robot-use and carbon-emitting country, and it is imperative to explore industrial robots' impact on carbon emissions to achieve the nation's planned low-carbon transition. Previous studies have neglected to consider the energy rebound stimulating effect of adopting industrial robots. To address this gap, we explored the relationships between industrial robots, carbon emissions, and the energy rebound effect by applying a fixed-effects model that considers cross-sectional dependence, using data from 2008 to 2019. We also analyze the moderating effect of labor factor mobility on industrial robots and regional differences in conjunction with the labor substitution effect of industrial robots. Three relevant conclusions are obtained. First, although using industrial robots reduces carbon emissions, it also leads to an energy rebound effect, partially offsetting industrial robots' carbon reduction performance. Second, the resulting emissions reduction and energy rebound effects in the western region are greater than those in eastern and central regions. This suggests that the use of industrial robots in less industrialized regions could yield better emissions reduction effects but requires awareness and mitigation of potential increased energy consumption. Third, labor factor flow negatively moderates the impact of industrial robots on carbon emissions, indicating that labor flow between cities reinforces the emissions reduction effect of industrial robots. The negative moderating effect of labor factor flow is greatest in the western region compared to eastern and central regions. Thus, we need adequate awareness of the energy rebound effect in the use of industrial robots. The development and use of indicators is common practice in efforts to promote sustainable development of water use systems. Building on the balanced network structure derived from the analysis of ecological information, in this study, we proposed a conceptual model and the network structure index (NSI), a new indicator that includes network efficiency and resilience. Furthermore, considering the need to cover measures of the state of water use systems, we combined the NSI with conventional multi-dimensional indicators including economic, social, and environmental factors to form an aggregated index for a more thorough and practical sustainability measurement. Based on the proposed new indicators, we used the four sub-basins of China's Huaihe River as case studies. The goal of this study is to develop a new metric incorporating whole-system attributes for assessing the sustainability of water use systems. The mobilized thermal energy storage (M-TES) system is a promising alternative to conventional heating systems to meet the heat demand for distributed users. This paper provided a techno-economic assessment of the M-TES system based on a case study in China. According to the analysis of the design specifications of the heating system, the suitability of matching the M-TES with existing heating systems was analyzed. The results show that the M-TES is appropriate for use with heating systems with a fan-coil unit and under-floor pipe. Containers and operating strategies for the M-TES with different transportation schemes were also designed. The maximum allowed load of the M-TES container is 39 t according to the discussion of transportation regulations on the road. The cost and income of the M-TES in the study case were estimated, and the net present value (NPV) and payback period (PBP) were also calculated. The best operating strategy is the use of 2 containers and 4 cycles of container transportation per day, with a PBP of approximately 10 years. The combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) systems applied for a remote island are proposed and investigated in this work, which are driven by internal combustion engine. All the energy demands of the investigated island should be covered by the CCHP system without the assistance of electric grid. Four different CCHP systems were evaluated in terms of primary energy saving ratio, carbon dioxide emission saving ratio and annualized life cycle cost. The results show that all the cases are superior to the conventional system. Furthermore, it is observed that the CCHP system with double-effect absorption chiller offers a better option compared with that adopting single-effect absorption chiller. And in the circumstance that the supplemented cooling load is high enough, adopting the electric chiller to back up is favorable, with the comprehensive consideration of energy and economic performance. Nevertheless, it is not true in the situation that the amount of cooling load supplemented is comparatively small. It could be concluded that the best option among the four systems is the one adopting the double-effect absorption chiller and gas-fired boiler. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As a product combining information and communication technology, digital technology, and traditional trade, digital trade represents a new form of international trade development in the context of economic globalization. As its scale continues to expand, digital trade not only profoundly impacts consumer health behaviors and environmental pollution control but also enhances opportunities for residents to access healthcare products and services. This could potentially have a significant promoting effect on residents' health levels. However, the extent and mechanisms through which digital trade affects residents' health remain unclear. Accordingly, this study fills in a gap in the research by calculating the provincial-level digital trade index for China from 2012-2020 and matching it with data from the China Family Panel Studies. The goal is to find the micro-causal mechanisms of digital trade on residents' health from green consumption and environmental improvement perspectives. The results show that digital trade reduces residents' medical expenses and improves their health. We use a quasi-natural experiment by treating the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone as a digital trade treatment group and conducting a difference-in-differences estimation, finding that the health effects of digital trade remain significant. Heterogeneity indicates that the health effects of digital trade are powerful for middle- and high-income households and rural residents. In the east and center, in regions with well-developed transportation infrastructure and digital financial inclusion, the development of digital trade is more conducive to residents' health. Additionally, we demonstrate that digital trade can affect residents' health by promoting green consumption, eliminating energy poverty (i.e., improving indoor air pollution), and enhancing environmental quality (i.e., improving outdoor environmental pollution). Objective: The aim of this study is to understand the epidemiological characteristics of tinnitus among flight support personnel and analyze its audiological characteristics and related risk factors. Methods: The information of tinnitus was collected by a method of cross-sectional investigation using questionnaire survey and audiology test among the flight support personnel of two stations of PLA air force. Results: The incidence of tinnitus among 666 subjects included was 24.2%, the THI grade was mainly grade 1 and grade 2. There were differences in THI scores among groups with different working years, but only differences in tinnitus incidence among groups with different frequency of hearing loss. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that grade of high frequency hearing loss（ OR =1.39）, conscious hearing loss（ OR =1.79） and frequency of asking others to repeat words（ OR =1.64） were independent risk factors of tinnitus. The incidence of HF-HL and EHF-HL in ears with tinnitus among 0-5 working years was higher than that without tinnitus, while the incidence of EHF-HL in ears with tinnitus was not different from that without tinnitus among 6-10 and >10 working years. There was moderate correlation between THI scores and SAS standard scores（ r =0.759）, and weak correlation between THI scores and PSQI scores（ r =0.445）.
