Background: The CRC‐VTE trial conducted in China revealed a significant occurrence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients following colorectal cancer (CRC) surgery, raising concerns about implementing thromboprophylaxis measures. The present study aimed to identify and analyze inappropriate aspects of current thromboprophylaxis practices. Methods: This study performed an analysis of the CRC‐VTE trial, a prospective multicenter study that enrolled 1836 patients who underwent CRC surgery. The primary objective was to identify independent risk factors for VTE after CRC surgery using multivariate logistic regression analysis. Furthermore, among the cases in which VTE occurred, the appropriateness of thromboprophylaxis was assessed based on several factors, including pharmacologic prophylaxis, time to initiate prophylaxis, drug selection, drug dosage, and duration of pharmacologic prophylaxis. Based on the analysis of the current state of thromboprophylaxis and relevant clinical guidelines, a modified Delphi method was used to develop a clinical pathway for VTE prophylaxis after CRC surgery. Results: In this analysis of 1836 patients, 205 (11.2%) were diagnosed with VTE during follow‐up. The multifactorial analysis identified several independent risk factors for VTE, including age (≥70 years), female sex, varicose veins in the lower extremities, intraoperative blood transfusion, and the duration of immobilization exceeding 24 h. None of the patients diagnosed with VTE in the CRC trial received adequate thromboprophylaxis. The main reasons for this inappropriate practice were the omission of thromboprophylaxis, delayed initiation, and insufficient duration of thromboprophylaxis. We developed a specialized clinical pathway for thromboprophylaxis after CRC surgery to address these issues. Conclusions: This study offers a comprehensive nationwide evaluation of existing thromboprophylaxis practices in patients after CRC surgery in China. A specialized clinical pathway was developed to address the identified gaps and improve the quality of care. Urban terminal logistics and distribution enterprises face the problems of duplicated network layouts, high costs, and inefficient urban environments. Recently, collaborative distribution using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ground vehicles has been considered as a means of reducing costs and enhancing efficiency, thus overcoming the issues created by the high-density layout of enterprises' relatively independent networks. This essentially involves constructing an air–ground collaborative common distribution network. To optimize the economic cost and distribution time of network operations, we established a site selection planning model for air–ground cooperative urban co-distribution centers and designed a solution method based on gray wolf optimization with K-means clustering. Taking the Wangsheren area of Jinan City, China, as an example, 15 UAV co-distribution centers and 13 vehicle co-distribution centers were identified. Although the average distribution cost of the network rose by 35–50% compared to traditional terminal distribution, the time saving was 80–85%, greatly improving the high-value-added service capacity. The end-distribution efficiency and customer satisfaction were also enhanced, which fully verifies the feasibility, validity, and applicability of the proposed model. [Objective] With the rapid increase in construction projects in the western regions in recent years, the impact of seasonal freeze-thaw cycles in the high-altitude areas of western China has become more pronounced. Conducting research on the microscopic characteristics and strength degradation properties of rocks under freeze-thaw cycles is crucial for guiding engineering construction in these cold, high-altitude regions. [Methods] To study the influence of freeze-thaw cycles on rock structure and mechanical properties, we collected diorite samples from a tunnel in the Kangding area and examined the effects of freeze-thaw cycles on their microstructure and mechanical characteristics. Firstly, thin rock sections were observed under a polarizing microscope to obtain mineral compositions and microstructures. Then, CT scanning technology was used to scan the granite samples after freeze-thaw cycles, and the scanned layers were binarized using threshold segmentation. The scanning images of different layers were binarized using threshold segmentation, and highresolution 3D data and images of the internal and external structures of the samples were obtained by stacking the binary image layers. Fractal theory was applied to calculate the box-counting dimension of the images and quantitatively assess their complexity. This analysis allowed us to examine the evolution and distribution characteristics of the internal structure of granite under freeze-thaw cycles. [Results] Under a polarizing microscope' the rock exhibits a block-like structure with a patchy, coarse-grained, and unequal-grained granite texture, with locally visible metasomatic worm structures. The main phenocryst minerals are alkaline feldspar. Other minerals range in size from 0.25 to 4.0 mm and primarily include quartz, plagioclase, and alkaline feldspar. Secondary minerals include biotite and epidote, while accessory minerals comprise apatite, zircon, and pyrite. Microscopically, the rock is identified as porphyritic, coarse-grained, and unequal-grained biotite diorite granite. Freeze-thaw cycles were applied to the granite samples in the laboratory to study the strength evolution and explore the relationship between structural evolution and strength. The results indicate that the freeze-thaw cycle effect leads to an overall increase in the internal porosity of the granite's microstructure, though the rock's permeability changes minimally, with an increase of only 0.003x10-3 µm² The internal pore development is uneven, primarily due to the emergence of new micropores, causing changes in the overall structure of the sample. After freeze-thaw cycles, the complexity of the internal structure of the rock decreases, but the overall integrity remains good, with the fractal dimension staying at a high level. Fractal analysis shows that 20 freeze-thaw cycles do not cause significant changes in the structural complexity of granite. However, the overall mechanical properties of the sample decline, viscosity increases, and long-term strength shows significant attenuation, raising the strain threshold for entering the creep test stage. [Conclusion] When evaluating the safety of rocks with dense primary structures, considering only their structure may lead to deviations from the actual situation. It is essential to combine necessary strength indicators for a comprehensive evaluation. After undergoing freeze-thaw cycles, rocks tend to exhibit more significant deformation while maintaining lower strength. Therefore, appropriate treatments are required for construction in high-altitude areas. [Significance] This study provides a reference for applying fractal theory to the evolution of rock microstructure and the relationship between rock microstructure and strength evolution. Background: The prediction accuracy for the rate of surface fire spread varies in different regions; thus, increasing the prediction accuracy for local fuel types to reduce the destructive consequences of fire is critically needed. Aims: The objective of this study is to improve the Rothermel model's accuracy in predicting the ROS for surface fuel burning in planted forests of Pinus koraiensis in the eastern mountains of north-east China. Methods: Fuel beds with various fuel loads and moisture content was constructed on a laboratory burning bed, 276 combustion experiments were performed under multiple slope conditions, and the ROS data from the combustion experiments were used to modify the related parameters in the Rothermel model. Results: The surface fire spread rate in Pinus koraiensis plantations was directly predicted using the Rothermel model but had significant errors. The Rothermel model after modification predicted the following: MRE = 25.09%, MAE = 0.46 m min−1, and R 2 = 0.80. Conclusion: The prediction accuracy of the Rothermel model was greatly enhanced through parameter tuning based on in-lab combustion experiments Implications: This study provides a method for the local application of the Rothermel model in China and helps with forest fire fighting and management in China. The ROS of surface fire in Pinus koraiensis plantation was measured in the laboratory for different fuel loads, fuel moisture contents, and slope conditions. The first record of abnormal body coloration in Sebastes koreanus Kim and Lee, 1994, from the Yellow Sea of China, was documented based on morphological characteristics and DNA barcoding. The two rockfish specimens were collected from the coastal waters of Qingdao, China, and the whole body and all fins of them were red. Of the two red-colored rockfish, there were tiny deep red spots on each fin, 2 red radial stripes behind and below the eyes and 1 large deep red blotch on the opercula, while the similar stripe and spot patterns are also present in the S. koreanus specimens with normal body coloration. The countable characteristics of the two specimens are in the range of the morphometry of S. koreanus. To further clarify the species identity and taxonomic status of the two specimens, DNA barcode analysis was carried out. The genetic distance between the red-colored rockfish and S. koreanus was 0, and the minimum net genetic distances between the red-colored rockfish and other Sebastes species except for S. koreanus were 3.0%, which exceeds the threshold of species delimitation. The phylogenetic analysis showed that the DNA barcoding sequences of the two red-colored rockfish clustered with the S. koreanus sequences. The above results of DNA barcode analysis also support that the two red-colored rockfish could be identified as the species of S. koreanus. The mechanism of color variation in S. koreanus is desirable for further research and the species could be an ideal model to study the color-driven speciation of the rockfishes. The order Tetraodontiformes are one of the most unique groups of teleostean fish, exhibiting highly derived and greatly diversified phenotypes. It is a difficult task for both professionals and nonprofessionals to accurately identify these species only according to morphological characteristics. DNA barcoding can identify species at the molecular level to overcome the limitations of morphological classification. In this study, we collected 616 specimens of pufferfish from the coastal waters of China. According to the morphological characteristics, they were preliminarily identified as 50 species. Further analysis using DNA barcodes identified these specimens as 46 species, belonging to 23 genera, 6 families. According to the species classification results of DNA barcoding, the three species identified by morphology as Takifugu pseudommus, Takifugu chinensis, and Takifugu rubripes should be the same species. Similarly, Lagocephalus wheeleri is the synonym of Lagocephalus spadiceus. Another important discovery of DNA barcoding analysis is that there are closer interspecific genetic distances within the genus Takifugu. If T. rubripes, T. pseudommus, and T. chinensis are taken as one species, the average interspecific to intraspecific genetic distance ratio of Takifugu is only 6.21 times, which does not reach the DNA barcoding threshold of more than 10 times proposed previously. Although the interspecific genetic distance in the genus Takifugu is relatively small, each species can be clustered into independent clades in the NJ tree. In conclusion, this study not only found that there are synonymous phenomena in the order Tetraodontiformes but also provided molecular evidence for the valid species names of Takifugu rubripes and Lagocephalus Spadiceus. The results can provide reliable DNA barcoding information for the identification of pufferfish species, help solve the problem of classification confusion in this order, and provide technical support for the identification of the original components of related commodities on the aquatic product market. Ecotourism is a promising solution for channeling tourism revenues to promote nature conservation and poverty alleviation. However, vulnerable social-ecological conditions may limit the effects of ecotourism in dry rangelands around the world. This study implemented a paired experimental design to survey social-ecological impacts of ecotourism in Ergun grassland, one of China's most commended ecotourism regions. Compared with livestock feeding business, local ecotourism achieved several sustainable development goals, such as providing income for local people, improving community cooperation, and raising conservation awareness. However, ecotourism caused the loss of forb species and subsequent decreases in ecosystem services. Therefore, ecotourism still had room for improvement in this region, considered the epitome for ecotourism in dry rangelands of China. Besides, climate change and adverse market conditions limited ecotourism to provide enough revenues for local people. Hence, it was better to integrate ecotourism and livestock feeding rather than replace livestock feeding with ecotourism in grassland conservation. In addition, although community-based ecotourism had showed its advantage in this region, it is out of the local community's capacity to establish a fair market institution and build the necessary infrastructure. Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the stability and accuracy of glucose measurements determined using the metabolic heat conformation (MHC)-based non-invasive glucometer in a multicentre, self-controlled clinical trial. This device is the first to obtain a medical device registration certificate awarded by the National Medical Products Administration of China (NMPA). Methods: The multicentre clinical study was conducted at three sites and enrolled 200 subjects whose glucose was measured with a non-invasive glucometer (the Contour Plus blood glucose monitoring system) and by venous plasma glucose (VPG) measurements, in a fasted state and at 2 and 4 h after meals. Results: Based on both the non-invasive and VPG measurements, 93.9% (95% confidence interval 91.7–95.6%) of the blood glucose (BG) values fell within consensus error grid (CEG) zones A + B. The measurements obtained in a fasted state and at 2 h after meals were more accurate, with 99.0% and 97.0% of the BG values, respectively, falling within zones A + B. Compared to those subjects who received insulin, the proportion of values in zones A + B and the correlation coefficients were 3.1% and 0.0596 higher, respectively. The accuracy of the non-invasive glucometer was influenced by the level of insulin resistance calculated by the homeostatic model assessment method, which had a correlation coefficient with the mean absolute relative difference of − 0.1588 (P = 0.0001). Conclusion: The MHC-based non-invasive glucometer assessed in the present study demonstrates generally high stability and accuracy in the glucose monitoring of people with diabetes. The calculation model needs to be further explored and optimised for patients with different diabetes subtypes, levels of insulin resistance and insulin secretion capacity. The contradiction between China's economic development, its need for resources and the protection of the environment is ctitical. Scarce water resources have resulted in a considerable bottleneck restricting the economic development of water‐deficient areas. An objective evaluation of the decoupling state of water consumption and economic development has become an important indicator of regional economic sustainable development. Based on panel data from 2000 to 2017 for six provinces in the arid and semiarid regions of Northwest China, the Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index method is employed to decompose the factors of the decoupling index and establish a decoupling relationship model between water consumption and economic development. The reasons that affect the decoupling state of water resource utilization and economic development are herein discussed, and the stability of the decoupling trend is analysed. Based on the overall regional trend, the decoupling state of the arid and semiarid regions in Northwest China improved from weak to strong, but the high decoupling stability index varied among the provinces. The intensity and structure were promotional factors for decoupling water consumption and economic development, and the contribution rate of the intensity factor was higher than that of the structure factor. Income and population were inhibiting factors for decoupling water consumption and economic development, and the contribution rate of the income factor was higher than that of the population factor. Air gun arrays are designed to generate strong energy pulses of less than 100 Hz for offshore oil and gas exploration. In shallow seas, due to the directivity of air gun arrays, the complex propagation conditions and the limitations of acquisition methods, it is difficult to accurately evaluate the spatial time and frequency transmission characteristics of airguns. To alleviate the existing lack of knowledge about the transmission characteristics of air gun pulses in the shallow waters of the Bohai Sea, we analysed three‐dimensional ocean bottom cable seismic data collected during a seismic survey in the Bohai Sea, China, in June 2017, which were used to evaluate the reception level, frequency domain characteristics and spatial distribution characteristics within a 5.55 × 5.575 km area. The results showed that in shallow water, multipath propagation causes downfrequency chirplike sounds and an increased sound field. Within 0.3 km, the transmission model follows a cylindrical diffusion, and the sound loss rate decreases as the transmission distance increases until reaching 8 km. Signal capture by the sound channel results in a high transmission loss frequency band, whereas multimode interference weakens the transmission loss. The gun array directivity and the transmission channel are the two main factors affecting the acoustic field. This research provides an improved understanding of the acoustic field of airguns in the Bohai Sea, which can benefit the acoustic modelling of air gun arrays, the design of future seismic exploration projects and the conservation of marine life. Seismic petrophysics is an important link between seismic elastic properties and reservoir physical properties. Based on the petrological and microstructure characteristics of shale in the Qingshankou formation of Sanzhao sag in the north of Songliao Basin, this paper presents an anisotropy petrophysical model with complex pore structure suitable for organic shale constructed with the use of the Voigt-Reuss-Hill average model, an anisotropy self-consistent approximation+differential effective medium model, and the layering of clay and kerogen is simulated by using the Voigt-Reuss-Hill average and bond transform to achieve the simulation of shale anisotropy. Based on the proposed model, the effects of the organic volume fraction, porosity, and pore aspect ratio on rock elastic properties are discussed. The result shows that with the increase of matrix porosity, all elastic parameters show a decreasing trend; with the increase of the organic volume fraction, except shear modulus, other elastic parameters show an increasing trend. Through comparative analysis, the elastic parameters (Lamé impedance and Shear impedance) sensitive to the organic volume fraction and porosity are optimized; the seismic petrophysical cross-plot template with core calibration is constructed. The application shows that the predicted S-wave velocity based on the proposed model is in good agreement with the S-wave velocity derived from dipole source logging. Combined with the high-precision prestack elastic parameter inversion, the "sweet spot" characteristics can be well described, and the research could contribute to a better "sweet spot" description and provide a better support for shale exploration in Sanzhao sag. The mining and leakage of molybdenum (Mo) can cause environmental contamination which has not been realized until recently. Bacteria that can mitigate Mo-contamination was enriched and isolated. The low temperature and different pH conditions were considered to analysis its feasibility in Northern China which suffers from a long time of low temperatures every year. The result showed that the removal rate of MoO42− by Raoultella ornithinolytica A1 reached 30.46% at 25 °C and pH 7.0 in Luria–Bertani medium (LB). Meanwhile, A1 also showed some efficiency in the reduction of MoO42− in low phosphate molybdate medium (LPM), which reached optimum at the MoO42− concentration of 10 mM. The results of FTIR indicated that the cell wall performed an essential role in the MoO42− removal process, which was illustrated by the distribution of Mo in A1 (Mo bound to cell wall accounted for 92.29% of the total MoO42− removed). In addition, low temperature (10 °C) effect the removal rate of MoO42− by − 8.38 to 11.66%, indicating the potential for the in-situ microbial remediation of Mo-contaminated environments in low temperature areas. Background: Acute respiratory failure (ARF) remains the most common diagnosis for intensive care unit (ICU) admission in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patients. Methods: We conducted a single-center, prospective, open-labeled, randomized controlled trial at the ICU, Beijing Ditan Hospital, China. AIDS patients with ARF were enrolled and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy or non-invasive ventilation (NIV) immediately after randomization. The primary outcome was the need for endotracheal intubation on day 28. Results: 120 AIDS patients were enrolled and 56 patients in the HFNC group and 57 patients in the NIV group after secondary exclusion. Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) was the main etiology for ARF (94.7%). The intubation rates on day 28 were similar to HFNC and NIV (28.6% vs. 35.1%, p = 0.457). Kaplan–Meier curves showed no statistical difference in cumulative intubation rates between the two groups (log-rank test 0.401, p = 0.527). The number of airway care interventions in the HFNC group was fewer than in the NIV group (6 (5–7) vs. 8 (6–9), p < 0.001). The rate of intolerance in the HFNC group was lower than in the NIV group (1.8% vs. 14.0%, p = 0.032). The VAS scores of device discomfort in the HFNC group were lower than that in the NIV group at 2 h (4 (4–5) vs. 5 (4–7), p = 0.042) and at 24 h (4 (3–4) vs. 4 (3–6), p = 0.036). The respiratory rate in the HFNC group was lower than that in the NIV group at 24 h (25 ± 4/min vs. 27 ± 5/min, p = 0.041). Conclusions: Among AIDS patients with ARF, there was no statistical significance of the intubation rate between HFNC and NIV. Background: Respiratory failure in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patients was the leading cause of intensive care unit (ICU) admission in our center. We aimed to describe the pulmonary infections and outcomes for respiratory failure in AIDS patients. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on AIDS adult patients with respiratory failure who were admitted to the ICU in Beijing Ditan hospital, China, from January 2012 to December 2021. We investigated pulmonary infections complicated by respiratory failure in AIDS patients. The primary outcome was ICU mortality, and a comparison between survivors and nonsurvivors was performed. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to identify predictors of ICU mortality. The Kaplan-Meier curve and Log rank test were used for survival analysis. Results: A total of 231 AIDS patients were admitted to ICU with respiratory failure over a 10-year period with a male predominance (95.7%). Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia was the main etiology of pulmonary infections (80.1%). The ICU mortality was 32.9%. In multivariate analysis, ICU mortality was independently associated with invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) [odds ratio (OR), 27.910; 95% confidence interval (CI, 8.392– 92.818; p = 0.000) and the time before ICU admission (OR, 0.959; 95% CI, 0.920– 0.999; p = 0.046). In the survival analysis, patients with IMV and later admission to ICU had a higher probability of mortality. Conclusion: Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia was the primary etiology for respiratory failure in AIDS patients admitted to the ICU. Respiratory failure remains a severe illness with high mortality, and ICU mortality was negatively associated with IMV and later admission to ICU. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: The study aimed to investigate the attitudes of people with diabetes mellitus (DM) on COVID-19 vaccination and its influence on the glycemic control. Methods: Data were collected from a consecutive series of adults (age > 18 years) with type 2 diabetes under regular follow-ups in the Integrated Care Diabetes Outpatient Clinic of Peking University First Hospital from December 1st to December 31st 2021. An online interview questionnaire was conducted, and demographic data including age, sex category, history of drug allergy, history of hypertension, the duration of diabetes, reasons for vaccine hesitancy (VH) and adverse reactions after each injection of vaccines was collected. Glucose levels were collected from medical records. Results: Thirty-nine (22.9%) subjects experienced VH and 131 (77.1%) people living with diabetes received inactivated vaccine against COVID-19. Hesitant individuals had a higher proportion of female gender (vaccinated group vs. VH group, 62/131 vs. 26/39, p = 0.044), higher baseline glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) (vaccinated group vs. VH group, 6.56 ± 0.95% vs. 7.54 ± 2.01%, p < 0.001) and elevated baseline postprandial blood glucose (PBG) (vaccinated group vs. VH group, 8.32 ± 1.97 mmol/L vs. 9.44 ± 2.94 mmol/L, p = 0.015). Subjects of male gender (p = 0.025) and history of hypertension (p = 0.021) were likely to get vaccinated, while higher HbA1c was negatively associated with an elevated propensity to receive anti-COVID-19 vaccine (p = 0.003). Most common reasons for hesitating to receive COVID-19 vaccination were worrying about the possibility of leading to other diseases (30.8%), followed by fearing of glucose variation (17.9%). Systemic adverse reactions were reported in 30.5% individuals after the first injection of inactivated vaccines, and resolved within 3 days in medium. Fasting blood glucose (FBG) decreased significantly after the third injection compared with FBG after the second dose (second vs. third, 6.78 ± 1.24 mmol/L vs. 6.41 ± 1.30 mmol/L, p = 0.027). HbA1c reduced significantly from 6.56% before vaccination to 6.35% after the second injection (p = 0.012). Conclusions: Our study demonstrated that vaccine hesitancy was lower among male subjects and people with hypertension, while vaccine confidence was reduced in people with poor glycemic control. As the youngest single age of detrital zircons is used as the maximum depositional age, the ages and tectonic attributes of the Late Palaeozoic stratigraphic units in the Tarbagatay area, West Junggar, NW China, become very confusing. An improved statistical approach indicates that 5, 6 and 7 concordant zircons are required for the maximum depositional age at 95% confidence level when the quantity of total concordant zircon in a sample does not exceed 50, 140 and 432, respectively, but the defined maximum depositional age is valid only when it is compatible with geological facts. Otherwise, it is still uncertain if the age is valid. This approach is applied to resolve a chronological chaos in the Late Palaeozoic stratigraphic units in the Tarbagatay area. As a result, the maximum depositional ages obtained from the detrital zircon samples in literature and this study are at 95% confidence level, most of which are well compatible with the fossils in the units, intrusive relationships of plutons to country rocks and ages of interbedded volcanic rocks. The valid maximum depositional ages and other geological facts definitely show the presence of the Devonian, Early Carboniferous and Early Permian stratigraphic units in the Tarbagatay area. The Late Devonian-Early Carboniferous marine-dominated units occurred in the Zharma-Saur arc and its transition to a back-arc basin to the south during the southward subduction of the Irtysh-Zaisan Ocean, whereas the Permian terrestrial unit was formed in a post-collisional setting after the closure of the Irtysh-Zaisan Ocean in the Late Carboniferous. The demand for energy in factories is huge. With abundant energy supply, factories can raise their production capacity to a new height. Energy is the material basis of domestic economic development. As the largest developing country in the world, energy shortage has become an urgent problem for China. In this paper, an Internet of Things based on big data ecosystem is proposed to analyze the energy consumption of the factory and build a model. The Internet of Things technology of big data ecosystem can be summarized as a technology that uses information sensing devices to complete the transaction and network connection according to the protocol content. A total of 853,000 power distribution operations were carried out in the power grid. In 2019, the average ratio of decision tree algorithm, machine learning algorithm, and machine learning algorithm was 36.8%, 37.4%, and 43.5%, respectively. Compared with the three methods, the method in this paper increased by 37.9% year-on-year and reduced the power outage by 2.63 million households, which is equivalent to a corresponding reduction of 35 users per operation. The functional requirements of the IoT energy consumption analysis system in factories based on big data ecosystem are reflected in three aspects: energy consumption monitoring and management, power control and management, and energy consumption supervision and analysis. The research on the prediction model of fracture depth in deep mining coal seam floor in China is of great significance to the prevention and control of water disasters and gas extraction in coal mine. However, the previous research on the depth of the damage of the floor has mainly focused on the shallow and medium-deep coal seam mining areas, while less research has been conducted on the deep mining condition. In particular, there is no suitable model for predicting the depth of damage to the floor under deep mining conditions. Therefore, to explore the safety and feasibility of deep coal seam floor mining in north China coalfield, this paper takes the coal seam mining in Pingdingshan coal mine as the engineering background, combines the comprehensive column data of the mining area, and carries out simulations through FLAC3D to analyze the influence law of mining length, mining depth and mining height on the depth of floor fracture, obtaining the fitting formula of the influence of rock mass disturbance on the depth of floor fracture, which is suitable for the mining floor of the deep coal seam floor of Pingdingshan coal mine. In addition, the comparison and analysis with the measured values of the fracture floor depth in deep mining coal seam floor of eight mines in North China type coalfield show that the fitting formula has stronger prediction ability, higher prediction accuracy and smaller error range, and is more suitable for the practices of coal mining face water disaster prevention and control site for the coal of Group Ji, Group Geng and the strata of the lower protective layer with the buried depth of more than 800 m in Pingdingshan coal mine. In the absence of on-site measurement, the prediction data can be provided for the fracture depth of mining coal seam floor in Group Ji, Group Geng and lower protective layer rock with the burial depth of Pingdingshan coal mine greater than 800 m. Based on the prediction model of the fracture depth of the floor, a contour diagram of the water inrush coefficient of the coal seam floor under these working conditions of 120 m and 200 m mining width with and without considering the floor damage depth is given. It provides better technical parameters for water prevention and control for the reasonable design of the working face and mineable area of the deep mining coal seam floor in Pingdingshan coal mine, which is conducive to the layout of mining areas and the selection of reasonable mining width, and provides a new prediction model and evaluation method for the prevention and control of water disasters in floor caused by the deep pressure mining of coal resources in similar mines in North China coal fields. Aims More patients with suspected coronary artery disease underwent coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) as gatekeeper. However, the prospective relation of plaque features to acute coronary syndrome (ACS) events has not been previously explored. Methods and results One hundred and one out of 452 patients with documented ACS event and received more than once CCTA during the past 12 years were recruited. Other 101 patients without ACS event were matched as case control. Baseline, follow-up, and changes of anatomical, compositional, and haemodynamic parameters [e.g. luminal stenosis, plaque volume, necrotic core, calcification, and CCTA-derived fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR)] were analysed by independent CCTA measurement core laboratories. Baseline anatomical, compositional, and haemodynamic parameters of lesions showed no significant difference between the two cohorts (P > 0.05). While the culprit lesions exhibited significant increase of luminal stenosis (10.18 ± 2.26% vs. 3.62 ± 1.41%, P = 0.018), remodelling index (0.15 ± 0.14 vs. 0.09 ± 0.01, P < 0.01), and necrotic core (4.79 ± 1.84% vs. 0.43 ± 1.09%, P = 0.019) while decrease of CT-FFR (−0.05 ± 0.005 vs. −0.01 ± 0.003, P < 0.01) and calcium ratio (−4.28 ± 2.48% vs. 4.48 ± 1.46%, P = 0.004) between follow-up CCTA and baseline scans in comparison to that of non-culprit lesion. The XGBoost model comprising the top five important plaque features revealed higher predictive ability (area under the curve 0.918, 95% confidence interval 0.861–0.968). Conclusions Dynamic changes of plaque features are highly relative with subsequent ACS events. The machine learning model of integrating these lesion characteristics (e.g. CT-FFR, necrotic core, remodelling index, plaque volume, and calcium) can improve the ability for predicting risks of ACS events. The South China Sea Operational Oceanography Forecasting System (SCSOFS), constructed and operated by the National Marine Environmental Forecasting Center of China, has been providing daily updated hydrodynamic forecasting in the South China Sea (SCS) for the next 5 d since 2013. This paper presents recent comprehensive updates to the configurations of the physical model and data assimilation scheme in order to improve the forecasting skill of the SCSOFS. This paper highlights three of the most sensitive updates: the sea surface atmospheric forcing method, the discrete tracer advection scheme, and a modification of the data assimilation scheme. Intercomparison and accuracy assessment among the five sub-versions were performed during the entire upgrading process using the OceanPredict Intercomparison and Validation Task Team Class 4 metrics. The results indicate that remarkable improvements have been made to the SCSOFSv2 with respect to the original version (known as SCSOFSv1). The domain-averaged monthly mean root-mean-square errors of the sea surface temperature and sea level anomaly have decreased from 1.21 to 0.52 ∘ C and from 21.6 to 8.5 cm, respectively. Background: Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare inherited primary immunodeficiency syndrome, manifested as recurrent infections and inflammatory complications. Although prophylactic treatment with antibiotics and antifungals improved the outcome of CGD patients, infections remain the major cause of mortality.Case Presentation: A boy aged 3 years and 8 months was admitted to hospital complaining of lip swelling with fever for half a month and neck abscess for 11 days. After a thorough examination, severe pneumonia, respiratory failure, oral and maxillofacial space infection, and perianal abscess were confirmed. However, his condition didn't improve after initial comprehensive therapy. Subsequently, overlapping infections of Nocardia farcinica and Aspergillus fumigatus were identified by metagenomic next-generation sequencing. He was treated with imipenem, linezolid, and voriconazole intravenously, plus taking oral compound sulfamethoxazole. Later, his condition improved. Through whole-exome sequencing, the child was ultimately diagnosed as X-linked chronic granulomatous disease (X-CGD) caused by CYBB gene mutation. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was the potential sanative approach but there were no available human leukocyte antigen compatible donors for the child. The family requested to transfer to a superior hospital for further treatment. Two months later, we followed up the child's family. Unfortunately, the child had expired due to severe infection.Conclusion: To our knowledge, this is the first case of overlapping infection of Nocardia farcinica and Aspergillus fumigatus identified by metagenomic next-generation sequencing in a child with X-CGD from China. For infectious pathogens that are hard to diagnosis by traditional detection methods, metagenomic next-generation sequencing is recommended as an adminicle or indispensable approach for microbial identification. Deep coal seam mining often leads to water resource loss due to bedrock water entering the workings of the mine and is discharged adjacent to the mining area. Using the geological conditions of the Maiduoshan coal mine, this paper applied a physical simulation experiment. The specified rock above the coal seam was hydraulically fractured in advance to form a postmining grouted fracture network, followed by grouting to construct a flexible isolation layer that blocked the infiltration of groundwater from the aquifer into the water-conducting fracture zone. Stress sensors, flow sensors and strata displacement monitoring technology were deployed inside the experimental material to study the spatial distribution characteristics and evolution law of the water-conducting fracture zone in the overlying rocks. Analysis of the water-conducting fracture zone development law, stress variation, overburden evolution characteristics, fracturing and grouting sequence of the flexible isolation layer and the effect of postmining grouting on the water barrier was conducted. These experiments verified the feasibility of fracture and grouting of the flexible isolation layer. These research results will provide practical guidance for the transition from the current safe and efficient mining methods to safe and green mining methods of deep coal mining in the western mining areas of China. Higher ecosystem nitrogen (N) inputs resulting from human activities often suppress soil microbial biomass and respiration, thereby altering biogeochemical cycling. Soil acidification and carbon (C) limitation may drive these microbial responses, yet their relative importance remains elusive, which limits our understanding of the longer term effects of increasing N inputs. In a field experiment with continuous N addition at seven different rates from 0 to 50 g N m−2 year−1 over 6 years in a temperate grassland of Inner Mongolia, China, we examined the responses of soil microbial biomass and respiration to changes in soil acidity and C availability by adding lime and/or glucose to soil samples. Soil microbial biomass and respiration did only weakly respond to increasing soil pH, but increased strongly in response to higher C availability with increasing N addition rates. Soil net N immobilization increased in response to glucose addition, and soil microbial biomass increased at higher rates than microbial respiration along the gradient of previous N addition rates, both suggesting increasingly reinforced microbial C limitation with increasing N addition. Our results provide clear evidence for strong N‐induced microbial C limitation, but only little support for soil acidity effects within the initial pH range of 4.73–7.86 covered by our study. Field data support this conclusion by showing reduced plant C allocation belowground in response to N addition, resulting in soil microbial C starvation over the long term. In conclusion, soil microbial biomass and respiration under N addition were strongly dependent on C availability, most likely originating from plant belowground C inputs, and was much less affected by changes in soil pH. Our data help clarify a long‐standing debate about how increasing N input rates affect soil microbial biomass and respiration, and improve the mechanistic understanding of the linkages between ecosystem N enrichment and C cycling. A set of nodular limestones was developed in the first member of the Middle Permian Maokou Formation (denoted as the Mao‐1 member) in the south‐eastern Sichuan Basin, south‐west China. Borehole coring has shown excellent signals of oil and gas from the Mao‐1 member carbonates, and many drilling wells have obtained industrial‐level gas flow. To assess the natural gas exploration potential of the Mao‐1 member in this area, sedimentary characteristics of drilling cores are described, and the formation mechanism of natural gas reservoir and its key controlling factors are also evaluated using data obtained from field geological survey, core observation, and laboratory experimental analysis. On this basis, the process of natural gas accumulation and evolution is examined. The results show that the Mao‐1 member nodular limestone comprises abundant marls and packstone to wackestone, and they were deposited in a lower part of the carbonate ramp setting. The marls exhibit rather high organic‐matter abundance and hydrocarbon generation capacity. Natural gas is mostly enriched in the marls developed talc diagenetic shrinkage pores and a certain number of organic‐matter pores, and their reservoir properties are much better than that of packstone‐wackestone. The natural gas in the Mao‐1 member is mainly self‐generated oil pyrolysis gas. The gas reservoir is characterized by the co‐existence of source rocks and reservoir, a lithology‐controlled reservoir, and a structure‐fracture‐controlled enrichment mechanism. Organic‐matter‐rich marl constitutes the material basis for natural gas accumulation. Talc diagenetic shrinkage pores provide storage space for natural gas. Preservation conditions are the key to natural gas accumulation, and natural fractures are beneficial to high gas production. The gas reservoir is characterized by early intraformational enrichment and late interformational adjustment. The finding of the nodular limestone gas reservoir of the Mao‐1 member provides new insights into unconventional gas exploration in the Sichuan Basin, and shows great potential for increasing natural gas reserves and production in China. As numerous blocks of the Ediacaran‐Cambrian supra‐subduction zone ophiolites, seamounts, subduction‐related metamorphic rocks, and arc granitoids have been identified in the ophiolitic mélanges in the contiguous West Junggar (China) and Balkhash (Kazakhstan) area, the initial subduction of the Junggar‐Balkhash Ocean, a major branch of the southern Palaeo‐Asian Ocean is emerging as an interesting topic. In this study, we present new data from diabase and basalt xenoliths in an Ediacaran‐Early Cambrian quartz‐monzonite block within the Tangbale ophiolitic mélange and an isolated dacitic tufflava block within the Saleinuohai ophiolitic mélange in southern West Junggar, NW China, as another line of evidence for the Ediacaran initial subduction of the Junggar‐Balkhash Ocean and the Cambrian migration of arc magmatism in West Junggar. The diabase and dacitic tufflava yield concordant zircon U–Pb ages of 568 and 530 Ma, respectively. The diabase and basalt exhibit high Al2O3 (17.38–17.75 wt%) and low TiO2 (0.69–0.90 wt%), with Mg# = 47–55, whereas the dacitic tufflava is characterized by high Na2O (7.87–8.43 wt%), with Mg# = 46–49. All the samples display similar LREE and large‐ion lithophile element (LILE) enrichment and Nb, Ta, Ti, and varying Zr and Hf depletion, indicating that they were formed in an intra‐oceanic arc setting. An integration of the new and published data shows that the subduction of the Junggar‐Balkhash Ocean was initiated in the Late Ediacaran at least, followed by slab rollback and retreat of subduction zone, which would be responsible for the northward migration of arc magmatism. Background: Stigma associated with infectious diseases is common and causes various negative effects on stigmatized people. With Wuhan as the center of the COVID-19 outbreak in China, its people were likely to be the target of stigmatization. To evaluate the severity of stigmatization toward Wuhan people and provide necessary information for stigma mitigation, this study aimed to identify the stigmatizing attitudes toward Wuhan people and trace their changes as COVID-19 progresses in China by analyzing related posts on social media.Methods: We collected 19,780 Weibo posts containing the keyword 'Wuhan people' and performed a content analysis to identify stigmatizing attitudes in the posts. Then, we divided our observation time into three periods and performed repeated-measures ANOVA to compare the differences in attitudes during the three periods.Results: The results showed that stigma was mild, with 2.46% of related posts being stigmatizing. The percentages of stigmatizing posts differed significantly during the three periods. The percentages of 'Infectious' posts and 'Stupid' posts were significantly different for the three periods. The percentage of 'Irresponsible' posts was not significantly different for the three periods. After government interventions, stigma did not decrease significantly, and stigma with the 'Infectious' attitude even increased. It was not until the government interventions took effect that stigma significantly reduced.Conclusions: This study found that stigma toward Wuhan people included diverse attitudes and changed at different periods. After government interventions but before they took effect, stigma with the 'Infectious' attitude increased. After government interventions took effect, general stigma and stigmas with 'Infectious' and 'Stupid' attitudes decreased. This study constituted an important endeavor to understand the stigma toward Wuhan people in China during the COVID-19 epidemic. New zircon U–Pb ages and whole-rock chemical data from four adakitic and two non-adakitic igneous rocks as tectonic blocks in the southern West Junggar accretionary complexes, northwestern China and one gabbro enclave in adakitic block provide further constraints on the initial subduction and following rollback process of the Junggar Ocean as part of southern Palaeo-Asian Ocean. The oldest adakitic monzonite in Tangbale is intruded by the non-adakitic quartz monzonite at 549 Ma, and the youngest adakitic diorite in Tierekehuola formed at 520 Ma. The Ediacaran–Cambrian magmatism show a N-wards younger trend. The high-SiO2 adakitic rocks have high Sr (300–663 ppm) and low Y (6.68–12.2 ppm), with Sr/Y = 40–84 and Mg no. = 46–60, whereas the non-adakitic rocks have high Y (13.2–22.7 ppm) and Yb (2.32–2.92 ppm), with Mg no. = 36–40. The gabbro has high MgO (14.81–15.11 wt%), Co (45–48 ppm), Cr (1120–1360 ppm) and Ni (231–288 ppm), with Mg no. = 72–73. All the samples show similar large-ion lithophile element (LILE) and light rare earth element (LREE) enrichment and Nb, Ta, Ti and varying Zr and Hf depletion, suggesting that they were formed in a subduction-related setting. The adakitic rocks were produced by partial melting of subducted oceanic slab, but the melts were modified by mantle wedge and slab-derived fluids; the non-adakitic rocks were likely derived from partial melts of the middle-lower arc crust; and the gabbro originated from the mantle wedge modified by slab-derived fluids. The Qijia Sag, a secondary tectonic unit in the northern Songliao Basin, developed plentiful shale oil resources in the first member of the Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation (K2qn1) as its main target layer. However, the systematic study on the geological and geochemical characteristics of K2qn1 in the sag has not been carried out. Taking the core samples from the SYY1 well covering the whole K2qn1 as the main study object and concerning some relevant intervals from the SYY1HF well and other earlier wells, petrologic features, organic geochemical characteristics, oil-bearing property, and reservoir characteristics of K2qn1 were analyzed in detail. The results show that the lithology of K2qn1 is mainly dark mudstone genera accounting for more than 90% of the formation thickness with few macrostructural fractures, indicating that K2qn1 developing in deep to semideep lacustrine facies of the Qijia Sag belongs to the typical matrix reservoirs for shale oil. According to lithology features and logging curves, K2qn1 can be divided into three submembers consisting of K2qn11, K2qn12, and K2qn13 from above to below. Compared to the K2qn11 submember, the K2qn12 and K2qn13 submembers obviously are more enriched in shale oil, which is supported by the following three aspects: (i) the average TOC (total organic carbon) values of K2qn11, K2qn12, and K2qn13 are 1.96%, 2.42%, and 2.72%, respectively. The organic matter types of K2qn12 and K2qn13 are mainly type I and type II1, while those of K2qn11 are mainly type II1 and type II2. K2qn1 is at the end of the oil window with a R o (vitrinite reflectance) average of 1.26%, and the maturity of K2qn12 and K2qn13 is slightly higher than that of K2qn11. (ii) The average OSI (oil saturation index) values of K2qn11, K2qn12, and K2qn13 are 110.54 mg/g, 171.74 mg/g, and 150.87 mg/g, respectively, which all reach the zone of oil crossover. The saturated hydrocarbon of EOM (extractable organic matter) in K2qn12 and K2qn13 is of higher content than that in K2qn11, while it is the opposite for the aromatic hydrocarbon, nonhydrocarbon, and asphaltene, indicating better oil mobility for K2qn12 and K2qn13. The average oil saturation values of K2qn11, K2qn12, and K2qn13 are 24.77%, 32.86%, and 35.54%, respectively. (iii) The intragranular dissolution pores and organic pores in K2qn12 and K2qn13 are more developed than those in K2qn11. The average effective porosity values of K2qn11, K2qn12, and K2qn13 interpreted from NMR logging are 4.88%, 6.26%, and 5.86%, respectively. Based on the above-mentioned analyses, the lower K2qn12 and the upper K2qn13 are determined as the best intervals of shale oil enrichment for K2qn1 vertically in the Qijia Sag. There is a certain horizontal heterogeneity of TOC, S 1 , and effective porosity in the drilling horizontal section of K2qn1 of the SYY1HF well. Therefore, the lower K2qn12 and the upper K2qn13 in the area with relatively weak horizontal reservoir heterogeneity of the study area should be selected as the preferential targets for shale oil exploration. The diversity of geological structure combinations in the coal seam floor makes it difficult to characterize, prevent and control floor water inrush in the Chenghe mining area in the Weibei coalfield, China. Based on a comparative study of the structure of the floor strata and the sedimentary characteristics of the no. 5 coal seam floor in the Chenghe mining area, the floor strata were categorized into four types. Fluid–solid coupling numerical simulation software was used to study floor water-blocking performance. We found that mining failure depth was the shallowest and water-blocking capacity was the best for the "soft-hard-soft" type of floor, followed by two interbeds of soft and hard type floors, while the mining failure depth was the deepest and the water-blocking capacity the worst for the "hard-soft-hard" type of floor. These conclusions were applied to guide the floor grouting reconstruction project at the 22,507 working face in the Dongjiahe coal mine. The "hard-soft-hard" type of floor was transformed into an "interbedded soft and hard" type of floor with a better water-blocking capacity, avoiding blind grouting, reducing grouting costs and the risk of water inrush, and allowing safe mining above the confined aquifer. The research results revealed how floor strata combinations control the water-blocking characteristics of the floor and provides scientific guidance for floor reinforcement and grouting projects. Obesity, especially abdominal obesity, is correlated to increased risk of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. It is urgent to search a simply method to predict visceral fat area (VFA). Herein, we evaluated the correlation of waist circumference (WC) measured by anthropometry and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), and VFA estimated by BIA or measured by quantitative computed tomography (QCT) in China. The mean body mass index (BMI) was 25.09 ± 3.31 kg/m2 and the mean age was 49.16 ± 9.19 years in 2754 subjects. VFA-BIA were significantly smaller than VFA-QCT in both BMI and age subgroups between male and female (p < 0.001). High correlation was observed for WC between BIA and manually (r = 0.874 for all, r = 0.865 for male and r = 0.806 for female) and for VFA between BIA and QCT (r = 0.512 for all). The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) showed the perfect agreement between BIA and manually to measure WC (ICC = 0.832 for all, 0.845 for male and 0.697 for female) and implied a good reliability for VFA between BIA and QCT with women among subgroups (ICC = 0.623 for all, ICC = 0.634 for age < 50 years and ICC = 0.432 for BMI > 24 kg/m2), whereas the good reliability was lost in men (ICC = 0.174). The kappa analysis showed a moderate consistency for VFA measured by BIA and QCT (Kappa = 0.522 with age < 50 years, 0.565 with age ≥ 50 years in male; Kappa = 0.472 with age < 50 years, 0.486 with age ≥ 50 years in female). In addition, BIA to estimate VFA (r = 0.758 in male, r = 0.727 in female, P < 0.001) has a stronger correlation with VFA measured by QCT than BMI and WC according to gender categories. Furthermore, ROC analysis showed the cut-off point of VFA measured by BIA for predicting visceral obesity was: 101.90 cm2, 119.96 cm2 and 118.83 cm2 and the Youden's index was 0.577, 0.577 and 0.651, respectively and the Kappa value was 0.532, 0.536 and 0.611 in unadjusted model, model 1 and model 2. In conclusion, being non-invasive and free of radiation, BIA can be used as a safe and convenient tool to estimate VFA in female; especially for monitoring the VFA of the same person, the BIA has superiority to a certain extent. However, the consistency is not most ideal between BIA and QCT. When using BIA to assess whether a person is visceral obesity, we must take into consideration age, BMI and WC. The distribution pattern and genetic structure of plant species have been profoundly influenced by climate oscillations. Phylogeographic analyses have been numerously conducted in biodiversity hotspot regions and some general conclusions have been documented. However, other regions have received less attentions and these places may serve as potential glacial refugia for plant species to survive the Quaternary glaciation. Here, we used six nuclear and three cpDNA markers to estimate the phylogeographic pattern of Populus davidiana, a widespread species distributed in southwest China. As a widely distributed species in southwest China, the nucleotide diversity of P. davidiana was relatively high (Na = 6.28, HO = 0.534, and HE = 0.658). Genetic differentiation (FST) between the two main distribution regions, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, was 0.21221. According to the composition of chloroplast haplotypes and the result of structure in these populations, we clearly distinguished two distantly sublineages corresponding to two distribution regions. Results of the Mantel test showed that there was a significant correlation between genetic distance and geographical distance (R2 = 0.8252, p<.05). The topographically heterogeneous regions and the low dispersal ability of seed and pollen may lead to high genetic differentiation between these two regions. A potential glacial refugia for P. davidiana located in adjacent regions to the Hengduan range was revealed and allopatric divergence in separated glacial refugia may directly lead to the present phylogeographic pattern of this species. The development of rural tourism can not only stimulate the growth of local economy, but also promote the effective implementation of China's rural revitalization strategy. Exploring the antecedent variables and forming mechanism of residents' support for tourism is an important factor to promote the sustainable development of tourism, which has attracted widespread attention from the academic community. Specifically, in the complex relationship between multi-stakeholders triggered by rural tourism development, residents' trust in government has played a pivotal role in ensuring the development of rural tourism, but existing studies about the influence of residents' trust in government on support for tourism lack in-depth discussion. Based on the social exchange theory, this paper takes community involvement and residents' perception of tourism impact as mediators and place attachment as the moderator. Selecting eight representative rural tourism destinations in Shandong Province as study sites, this study attempts to analyze the influencing mechanism of resident's trust in government on the support for tourism. Findings suggest that: (1) Trust in government has significant influence on community involvement, perceived benefits, support for tourism positively, and perceived costs negatively. (2) Community involvement and perceived benefits mediates partially the relationship between government trust and tourism development support. (3) Place attachment moderates the relationship between trust in government and community involvement positively. Compared with existing studies, this paper analyzes the formation mechanism of residents' support for tourism development in rural tourism destinations from the perspective of trust in government, and strengthens the role of community involvement and place attachment in the exploration of influencing mechanism. It provides a theoretical explanation and an empirical support for the deep understanding of the transmission mechanism of residents ' trust in government influencing their support for tourism and stimulating residents' support behavior for tourism development. This means that, in order to effectively improve residents' support for tourism, it is necessary to pay more attention to community residents' trust in government, enhance the interaction and communication between government and residents, encourage residents' involvement in tourism development, strengthen residents' sense of gain from rural tourism development, and cultivate residents' place attachment to their communities, so as to exert the positive role of rural tourism in promoting rural revitalization. This paper investigated the effectiveness of a vent burst door in isolating the shock waves of gas explosions in coal mines and to reveal the mechanisms of gas explosion overpressure. A 17.5 m × φ 0.63 m columnar explosion test duct with a similar shape to the roadways in coal mines was designed. Explosion overpressure propagation characteristics and the effects of methane concentration at different locations along the duct with and without a vent burst door were experimentally investigated. The results demonstrate that the vent burst door plays a significant role in sealing the explosion area and isolating the explosion propagation. A properly designed vent burst door is a promising technique for suppressing and isolating multiple and continuous gas explosions and is poised to have a significant positive impact on improving the safety of coal mines in China and all over the world. The aims of this study are to develop a novel compound structure that consists of two-stage decomposition (TSD), hybrid particle swarm optimization gravitational search algorithm (HPSOGSA) and multi-kernel least square support vector machine (MLSSVM) for improving forecasting accuracy. In the most previous wind speed forecasting studies, only one wind speed signal decomposition method is considered, which is insufficient. To better deal with the wind speed time series, TSD method combining complementary ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise with wavelet transform is firstly employed in the proposed model to preprocess the wind speed samples; then, binary-valued particle swarm optimization gravitational search algorithm is exploited as feature selection to identify and eliminate the abnormal noise signal within the input candidate matrix that is determined by partial autocorrelation function. The kernel function and the kernel parameters have great influence on the regression performance of LSSVM. To solve these problems, integrations of radial basis function, polynomial (poly) and linear kernel functions by optimal weighted coefficients are constructed as multi-kernel function for LSSVM, namely MKLSSVM, and the parameter combination is tuned by conventional PSOGSA. The feature selection and parameter optimization are realized by hybrid PSOGSA (HPSOGSA) simultaneously. Finally, comprehensive comparison and analysis are carried out using the historical wind speed data from one wind farm of China to illustrate the excellent forecasting performance of TSD–HPSOGSA–MKLSSVM. Forest trees are an excellent resource from which to understand population differentiation and heterogeneous genome variation patterns due to the majority of forest trees being distributed widely and able to adapt to different climates and environments. Populus davidiana is among the most geographically widespread and ecologically important tree species in China. Whole‐genome resequencing data of 75 individual examples of P. davidiana throughout China were conducted, finding that all examples from different regions were clearly divided into either Northeast (N), Central (C), and South (S) populations. The ancestors of P. davidiana diverged into Northern group, comprising both N and C and Southern populations approximately 792,548 years ago. This time point of differentiation suggests that divergence of P. davidiana populations might have been triggered by the mid‐Pleistocene transition. The three populations experienced considerable periods of bottleneck following divergence, with population expansion beginning around 5,000 years ago after the end of the last glacial maximum. We found N to be the center of origin of P. davidiana in China. The migration route of P. davidiana in China was from N to S. Although the majority of the regions of genomic differentiation between N and S populations can be explained by neutral processes, a number of tested outlier regions were also found to have been significantly influenced by natural selection. Our results highlight that linked selection and rates of recombination were important factors in genomic differentiation between the N and S populations. Ordovician limestone water on the floor is a serious threat to the safety of coal mine production in the Weibei coalfield, and prediction of the floor failure depth is the key for evaluating the mining conditions under pressure. This paper combines the hydrogeological conditions of the no. 5 coal seam and uses the FLAC3D program to determine the floor failure depth under two-factor (mining depth and width) and multifactor (mining depth, width, and height) conditions via numerical calculations and analysis. We obtain the fitting formula for the floor failure depth and analyze the influence of various factors on it. The results show that when the mining width does not exceed 200 m, the mining width has the greatest influence on the floor failure depth, followed by mining depth and mining height. In this paper, the working face floor failure depths measured values of 18 flat seams in China are taken as samples for comparison with the values calculated via empirical formulas and fitting formulas, and the maximum and minimum absolute errors and relative errors are analyzed. The nonlinear fitting regression formulas offered in this paper are found to provide strong predictive value, high accuracy, and a relatively small error range. The reliability and rationality of the models are further verified, thus providing a reference for future mining operations under safe aquifer water pressure conditions in the Weibei coalfield. Gut microbiota make up the largest microecosystem in the human body and are closely related to chronic metabolic diseases. Herein, 520 fecal samples are collected from different regions of China, the gut microbiome in chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized, and CKD classifiers based on microbial markers are constructed. Compared with healthy controls (HC, n = 210), gut microbial diversity is significantly decreased in CKD (n = 110), and the microbial community is remarkably distinguished from HC. Genera Klebsiella and Enterobacteriaceae are enriched, while Blautia and Roseburia are reduced in CKD. Fifty predicted microbial functions including tryptophan and phenylalanine metabolisms increase, while 36 functions including arginine and proline metabolisms decrease in CKD. Notably, five optimal microbial markers are identified using the random forest model. The area under the curve (AUC) reaches 0.9887 in the discovery cohort and 0.9512 in the validation cohort (49 CKD vs 63 HC). Importantly, the AUC reaches 0.8986 in the extra diagnosis cohort from Hangzhou. Moreover, Thalassospira and Akkermansia are increased with CKD progression. Thirteen operational taxonomy units are correlated with six clinical indicators of CKD. In conclusion, this study comprehensively characterizes gut microbiome in non‐dialysis CKD and demonstrates the potential of microbial markers as non‐invasive diagnostic tools for CKD in different regions of China. Background: As a key landmark during laparoscopic right colectomy, the classification and variation of the gastrocolic trunk of Henle (GTH) remains to be clarified. The aim of this nationwide multicenter study was to describe the characteristics of the GTH intra-operatively during laparoscopic right colectomies.Methods: Three hundred seventy-one patients who underwent laparoscopic right colectomies from January 2018 to March 2019 in 25 hospitals across China were enrolled in the study. The length of the GTH, the classification with a precise description of confluent tributaries, and other variations were analyzed.Results: Of the 371 patients, 363 had a GTH. The proportion of type-0, type-I, type-II, and type-III was 15.2% (n = 55), 54.8% (n = 199), 25.3% (n = 92), and 4.7% (n = 17), respectively. The average length of the GTH was 8.5 mm, ranging from 2 to 30 mm.Conclusions: This is the first multicenter study with a large sample by which the GTH was classified based on laparoscopic intraoperative observation. Variations in the GTH were classified into four types based on the number of colic drainage veins (right colic, superior right colic, middle colic, accessory middle colic, and ileocolic veins), among which the right colic vein was the most common. The length of the GTH was relatively short, and thus might carry a risk of bleeding. Further clinical data should be correlated with the characteristics of the GTH. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: Gestational thrombocytopenia (GT) is the most common cause of thrombocytopenia during pregnancy. However, the occurrence and severity of thrombocytopenia throughout pregnancy in Chinese women are not fully defined. Methods: We analyzed platelet counts in Chinese women who received prenatal care and/or delivered at the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University between January 2, 2018 and July 19, 2018 in China. These platelet counts were compared with those of nonpregnant women in the same study period. Results: The platelet counts of all women continued to decrease significantly each trimester (p < 0.0001). The mean platelet counts of the 818 women who had pregnancy-related complications were lower than those of the 796 women who had uncomplicated pregnancies during the third trimester (p = 0.047). At the time of delivery, platelet counts less than 150 × 109/L were more common in women with pregnancy-related complications than in women with uncomplicated pregnancy (26.7% vs. 19.7%, p = 0.03). Conclusions: Platelet counts decrease throughout pregnancy in Chinese women and platelet counts less than 150 × 109/L were more common in women with pregnancy-related complications than in women with uncomplicated pregnancy. Objective: The intestinal microbiome is associated with various autoimmune diseases. Regional difference is the main influencing factor of intestinal microbial difference. This study aimed to identify the differences in fecal microbiome between autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) patients and healthy controls (HCs) in Central China, and to validate the efficacy of fecal microbiome as a diagnostic tool for AIH. Design: We collected 115 fecal samples from AIH patients (N = 37) and HCs (N = 78) in Central China and performed gene sequencing. Fecal microbiomes were characterized and microbial markers for AIH were identified. Results: Fecal microbial diversity showed a downward trend in AIH compared with HCs. Fecal microbial communities significantly differed between both groups. At the phylum level, Verrucomicrobi a abundance was significantly increased, while Lentisphaerae and Synergistetes were significantly decreased in the AIH patients vs. the HCs. Compared to the HCs, 15 genera, including Veillonella, Faecalibacterium , and Akkermansia , were enriched, while 19 genera, such as Pseudobutyrivibrio, Lachnospira , and Ruminococcaceae , were decreased in the AIH patients. Ten genera, including Veillonella, Faecalibacterium , and Akkermansia , predominated in the AIH patients. Five microbial biomarkers were deemed optimal diagnostic tools for AIH. The probability of disease was significantly increased in AIH group vs. HCs, achieving 83.25% value of area under the curve. Conclusion: We present the characteristics of AIH patients in Central China for the first time. Five microbial biomarkers, including Lachnospiraceae, Veillonella, Bacteroides, Roseburia , and Ruminococcaceae , achieved a high potential distinguishing AIH patients from HCs. Natural fractures not only improve the physical properties of shale reservoirs but also promote the formation of hydraulic fracturing networks. The accurate identification of natural fractures in shale reservoirs is of a great significance to the exploration and development of shale gas. In this paper, the Lower Cambrian Niutitang Formation in Cen'gong block of northern Guizhou Province is taken as the research horizon. A variety of conventional logging parameters are selected to identify the natural fractures in the Niutitang Formation of three shale gas wells in the study area by combining R/S analysis method. Fracture locations can be accurately determined by calculating the second derivatives of lg(R/S) function. Considering the sensitivity of logging parameters to natural fractures, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to assign the corresponding weight to each logging parameter. A new parameter, fracture development coefficient, is introduced to quantitatively characterize the development degree of natural fractures. The results of R/S analysis are compared with those of core fracture observation and statistics. The results show that R/S analysis has a good effect on shale fracture identification, and the effect of fracture identification of three wells presents the following order: TM‐1 > TX‐1 > CY‐1. There is a positive correlation between fracture development coefficient and fracture linear density, indicating that the larger the fracture development coefficient is, the more developed the shale fractures are. Therefore, the fracture development coefficient can be used to characterize the degree of fracture development. In addition, we also analyze the errors of the identification results of R/S analysis and compare this method with conventional logging method. R/S analysis based on conventional logging is an accurate and efficient fracture identification method, which provides a new idea for the study and quantitative characterization of the natural fractures in shale reservoirs. Background: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication among human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patients resulting in increased morbidity and mortality. Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) is a useful method and instrument in critically ill patients with fluid overload and metabolic disarray, especially in those who are unable to tolerate the intermittent hemodialysis. However, the epidemiology, influence factors of CRRT and mortality in patients with HIV/AIDS are still unclear in China. This study aims to study the HIV-infected patients admitted in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and explore the influence factors correlated with CRRT and their prognosis.Methods: We performed a retrospective case-control study in the ICU of the Beijing Ditan Hospital Capital Medical University. From June 1, 2005 to May 31, 2017, 225 cases were enrolled in this clinical study.Results: 122 (54.2%) patients were diagnosed with AKI during their stay in ICU, the number and percentage of AKI stage 1, 2 and 3 were 38 (31.1%), 21(17.2%) and 63(51.7%), respectively. 26.2% of AKI patients received CRRT during the stay of ICU. 56.25% CRRT patients died in ICU. The 28-day mortality was 62.5%, and the 90-day mortality was 75%. By univariate logistics analysis, it showed that higher likelihood of diagnosis for respiratory failure (OR = 7.333,95% CI 1.467-36.664, p = 0.015), higher likelihood of diagnosis for septic shock (OR = 1.005,95% CI 1.001-1.01, p = 0.018), and higher likelihood to use vasoactive agents (OR = 10.667,95% CI 1.743-65.271, p = 0.001), longer mechanical ventilation duration (OR = 1.011,95% CI 1.002-1.019, p = 0.011), higher likelihood for diagnosis for PCP (OR = 7.50,95% CI 1.288-43.687, p = 0.025), higher SOFA score at ICU admission (OR = 1.183,95% CI 1.012-1.383, p = 0.035), longer duration of CRRT (OR = 1.014,95% CI 1.001-1.028, p = 0.034) contributed to a higher mortality at ICU. The Cox Analysis for the cumulative survival of AKI 3 patients between the CRRT and non-CRRT groups shows no significant differences (p = 0.595).Conclusions: There is a high incidence of AKI in HIV-infected patients admitted in our ICU. The hydrogeological conditions of Weibei coalfield in China are complex; the main mining No. 5 coal seam is seriously threatened by Ordovician limestone karst water disaster at the bottom of coal measures. Chenghe No. 2 Mine is a typical example. With the increase of mining depth, confined water pressure increases year by year. To find out the law of floor deformation and failure caused by No. 5 coal seam mining in Chenghe No. 2 Coal Mine, this paper takes 24,508 working face of Chenghe No. 2 Coal Mine as engineering geological background, and carries out research by numerical simulation and field test methods. The stress field, displacement field distribution law and plastic zone evolution characteristics of No. 5 coal seam roof and floor varying with the advancing degree of mining face are obtained by simulation calculation. The progressive failure process of the whole floor stratum is reproduced dynamically, and the development height of the water conducting fracture zone of overburden is given. The maximum failure depth of the floor occurs at the mining distance of about 1.5 times the mining width, at which time "the saddle shape" supporting pressure arch reaches its maximum. At the same time, the multi-point separated layer displacement meter is used to carry out field measurements. The results show that the maximum failure depth of floor occurs in the goaf, and the maximum range of the relative displacement of the floor is 8.0–8.5 m, which is close to − 6.1 m from the coal mining surface, consistent with the results of the numerical simulation. Comprehensive analysis shows that the maximum failure depth of coal seam floor in Chenghe No. 2 Coal Mine is 8.3 m. The conclusion provides a favorable basis for the rational formulation of water disaster control countermeasures. It provides reference and experience for mining under safe water pressure of aquifuge for prevention and cure water of similar working face in Chenghe mining area in the future. Epidemiological studies have demonstrated association between the total mass of fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) exposures and inflammation. There are few studies exploring the associations between PM 2.5 constituents and the biomarkers of inflammation in older adults and the underlying biological mechanisms are not exact. In this study, we examined the associations between PM 2.5 and its constituents (organic carbon (OC), elemental carbon (EC), total carbon (TC), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and complement three factor (C3), an important biomarker of inflammation in a repeated panel of 175 older adults in Beijing, China. We have constructed three different linear mixed effect models (single-pollutant model, constituent-PM 2.5 joint model, and constituent-residual model) to evaluate the association of PM 2.5 and its constituents and complement C3, controlling for concentration of high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), day of week, mean temperature, relative humidity, location and potential individual confounders. We found robust positive associations of OC, EC, TC, PAHs and PM 2.5 mass concentration with complement C3 at different lag patterns. The cumulative effects of pollutants increased across average of 2–5 days. Individuals aged 65 and above, or with diabetes, or BMI ≥30, or with no-cardiopathy, or with hypertension also exhibited positive associations between PM 2.5 and complement C3. The results revealed that short-term exposure to PM 2.5 and its constituents could result in a significant increase in serum level of complement C3. These findings suggested a possible involvement of complement C3 in the effect of PM 2.5 on inflammatory reaction. China has relaxed its family planning policy to allow all married couples to have a second child. To ensure a smooth implementation of the new policy (second‐child policy), an efficient detection of public attitudes is necessary. However, traditional methods fail to meet the requirement. This paper aims to examine social media responses, and then uses of linguistic analysis methods to build computational models for automatic detection of attitudinal expressions in social media posts. In this study, a total of 17,305 Sina Weibo posts with keywords were collected and analyzed. First, a content analysis was performed on collected posts to determine whether each of them reflected positive, neutral, or negative attitudes. Second, a series of linguistic features were obtained from each post. Third, based on selected linguistic features, decision tree models were built for differentiating among posts indicating different types of attitudes (positive, neutral, and negative). Results showed that 22.30% of analyzed posts indicated negative attitudes. 62.88% of relevant posts reflected a negative desire for bearing a second child. "Cost and burden" was recognized as a major barrier to the birth of a second child (56.55%). The classification accuracy of decision tree models ranged from 71.6 to 74.4%. This paper supports the need for improving public attitudes towards the second‐child policy, and confirms that the use of linguistic analysis method can add to the validity of online detection of public attitudes towards significant social events. To describe the epidemiology, outcomes, and risk factors of acute kidney injury (AKI) among human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).We reviewed all the HIV-infected admissions to the ICU at Beijing Ditan hospital in the time span from June 2005 to May 2017 and collected demographic, clinical, and laboratory data for our sample. AKI was diagnosed and classified according to the Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (KIDIGO) criteria. We analyzed the incidence of AKI and its associated mortality. The potential risk factors for severe AKI were also investigated in this study. A total of 225 HIV-infected patients were included in the final analysis. The incidences of no-AKI, AKI stage 1, AKI stage 2, and AKI stage 3, were 46.2% (104), 19.1% (43), 8.4% (19), and 26.2% (59), respectively. By logistic regression analysis, severe AKI (stages 2–3) was an important predicator for 60-day mortality with an odds ratio of 4.234. By multivariate analysis, a high acute physiology and chronic health evaluation, version II (APACHE-II) score (p = 0.024), low albumin (p < 0.031) at the first 24-h admission ICU, shock (p = 0.013), and bloodstream infection (p = 0.006) during hospitalization were all found to be significant risk factors for severe AKI. AKI is common in HIV-infected patients admitted to the ICU, and the mortality of patients with AKI stages 2–3 is significantly higher compared with those without such conditions. A high APACHE-II score and a lower albumin level at the first 24-h admission to ICU are significant predictors of severe AKI in this specific population.
