The present study had as its primary purpose to evaluate the Ministerial Support Program determined to promote and improve the communication of the marriage in the ecclesiastical context of the Nuevo Amanecer Church in Chicago Heights The investigation's design was made up of three phases: in the first phase, the two independent variables selected for this study were examined These variables were ‘levels of communication,’ and ‘communication competence,’ and were examined with a sample of thirty married couples The second phase consisted of the development of the Ministerial Support Program The third and final phase was evaluative and proposed to measure the impact of the program through the accomplishments in marital communication that were obtained by the participating couples. The type of design that corresponded to this investigation is intra subject or of repeated measures. Two Lickert type scales were constructed and the scores from the pre and post test were compared. The results allowed comparison of the improvement in communication levels between the couples that participated in the program. The differences in the means (test ‘t’) found before and after the Ministerial Support Program were incredibly significant (p<0 05) Likewise, Pearson's correlations r (p=0.000) indicated that there is a concomitant variation between both of the variables, that to say that they influence each other mutually. Two hypotheses were established in the project: (a) There is a relationship between having participated systematically in the Ministerial Support Program, and the change produced in the communication of the married couples, and (b) The communication improves with the participation in the Ministerial Support Program Both hypotheses were put to the test and were proven true.
