The article reviews the works and legacy of the orientalist Albert von Le Coq in the field of Manichean-Turkic textual studies. Le Coq's key work is said to have stemmed from Prussian archaeological expeditions in the early 20th century in Central Asia and his editorial labor on discovered fragments of Manichean-Turkic religious texts. Le Coq's subsequent research and publications on his and others' translations of the fragments and his interpretations of these texts are reviewed. The museum locations of these archeological finds are also reported.
