The article focuses on the Canada's greatest fighter aces, Raymond Collishaw. During the few weeks he had been in command of B Flight, Collishaw had suffered the consequences of that policy, in which squadron commanders, when asked to transfer pilots to a new unit, used it as an excuse to get rid of their mavericks. Time and again half of the independent-minded members of his flight conveniently got lost in the clouds when the enemy appeared. Although he had already been an ace when he took command of B Flight, those three months established Collishaw as one of the great fighter pilots of World War I. Collishaw's career and other details are mentioned in the article.
