In the article, the author discusses the Waves of the Chapman University Survey of American Fears (CSAF) project by the university's Division on the Study of American Fears. Among the topics covered by the surveys are violent and white-collar crimes, societal conflicts, and paranormal fears like ghosts and zombies. Based on the results, women are generally more fearful than men.
