The article presents an interview with jazz musician Bevan Manson, who discusses the reflection of California on his music, the influence of his father and the sound of jazz on his interest in music, and the influence of music teacher Ray Wright on his development as musician and as a composer. Moreover, the review of the music release "California Concertino" is discussed.
