Abstract

The article discusses the Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center and Sam Noble Museum of Natural History in Oklahoma, U.S. It further discusses that many of the artifacts are reproductions, the artifacts spread far and wide after the looting and Works Progress Administration (WPA) excavations; the Native Americans truly developed a high civilization on par with any other on the planet; and many of the most amazing treasures at Spiro had originally been made at Cahokia, historical place in Illinois.
