Abstract

The article reports on a clinical trial to assess the safety, tolerability and efficacy of spliceosomal peptide P140 in the treatment of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus in Bulgaria. The patients received subcutaneous (SC) administrations of a clinical batch of P140 at two-week intervals. P140 was found to be safe and well tolerated by the patients. Three SC doses of P140 improved their clinical and biologic status.
