Abstract

The article focuses on the petrology and mineral chemistry of garnet-clinopyroxene-K-feldspar granulites taken from Chepelare shear zone of Central Rhodope massif in Bulagria. Topics discussed include analysis of carbonate-free rocks, appearance of garnet porphyroblasts as aggregates of small hypidioblastic grains intergrown with clinopyroxene and the presence of accessory minerals such as titanite, allanite and zircon.
