Physical Activity (PA) is a predictive factor of diseases and health promotion. Resilience (R) is a positive reaction in the face of a catastrophe, threat or stressful situation, and coronary risk (CR) is important in the study of health. This study aimed to analyse and correlate the levels of PA, R and CR in the students of the Physical Education Course of the UEPA. In addition to the field, analytic, comparative and correlational, conducted from March to May 2022 with 60 students, the data were collected through the Baecke PA Level Questionnaire, the R Scale questionnaire and the UFSM RC assessment questionnaire, treated using absolute and relative values, mean and standard deviation, chi-square test, Student t, ANOVA one way and Pearson correlation. The results indicate a higher prevalence of Good Grade of R, Level of Regular PA and Level of Remote CR, higher PA index in women and CR in men, correlation between age and R and negative between PA and CR, which suggests adequate R and CR, but lower PA; men need to improve their PA and decrease CR. Objective: To investigate the meaning of suicidal ideation for undergraduate at the University of Pernambuco. Methods: This is a quantitative research with descriptive character carried out in the institutions of the Campus Santo Amaro with 359 academics. Data collection was performed through two self-applied instruments: a sociodemographic questionnaire and the Scale of reasons to live. The data were scanned in spreadsheets, the statistical treatment was performed in the Excel program. Results: It was found that 46.52% of the students had a moderate risk for suicidal ideation. It was also noted a percentage of 3.62% of the students risk for suicidal thoughts. Conclusion: These findings constitute both a situational diagnosis, so that higher education institutions promote programs and strategies aimed at the prevention of suicidal ideation and the reduction of risk factors, such as for active teachers, on campus or which assist students outside of it, are aware of the importance of measures aimed at identifying and minimizing such situation, thus improving the academic environment. Access to Higher Education (ES) in Brazil expanded considering changes in inclusive policies, as well as those specifically targeted at the deaf. Thus, it must be considered that deaf people who currently attend the ES bring the legacy of the pedagogical practices that were submitted to basic education, as well as the "transmitted" cultural capital. In this sense, the objective of this study is to understand the deaf university's literacy conditions, relating them to their insertion in the written culture and the implications for their permanence in the university. It is a qualitative research, being a case study of two deaf graduate students. Reading and writing of academic genres is usually done at the university, because the production of these genres is inherent to the university institution. From a Bakhtinian perspective, the appropriation of secondary genres in the sphere of knowledge in which they are constituted is discussed: at the university. It is concluded that the fact that the subjects did not proficiently master the Portuguese language in written mode (L2) did not interfere with the permanence and academic success of deaf people involved in this research when immersed in a university educational context in which Libras is prioritized. This lack of mastery did not prevent entry into higher education, at undergraduate and later postgraduate level, and from presenting academic performance compatible with the complexity required at such levels of education, although the subjects' literacy practices and transmission of cultural capital have proved to be a differential in this process for the domain of L2. It is undeniable that Public Policies for Higher Education have helped thousands of young and high school graduates from the low-income public school system to achieve the dream of entering a university course. They are welfare policies that are widely criticized by some sectors of society, but without which it would be very difficult for this portion of the population to have access to this level of education. Given this statement, this paper aims to analyze the scientific production on the theme "Higher Education and Public Policies: a look at university education" in the SciELO Electronic Library (Scientific Electronic Release On Line), from 2010 to 2019. Understand what has been produced about higher education in Brazil, types of authorship, amount of work on the topic per year, area of formation of the authors and what themes have been addressed in the research conducted concerning the problem. The present study had as scope to verify and compare the social representations of three groups of university students of the courses of law, psychology and pedagogy about the LGBT aging. The sample was composed of 300 university students a private IES. The Free Words Association Technique (TALP) was used, using the method of factorial matching analysis - AFC, through the software Tri Deux Mots. As results it was observed that representations emerged in two antagonistic poles: on the one hand, the right that every individual has in making their sexual choices independent of the stage of life that are, on the other hand, the prejudice suffered by LGBTs, aggravating when it comes to the elderly. It is hoped to contribute to the development of the subject, still little studied and divulged, so that there is a greater understanding of the new arrangements of the contemporary society. The adoption of social networks to the communicative routines of young people also implies a new form of accessing both news and information about environment problems. This phenomenon affects them as citizens. Through an exploratory survey, this paper (linked to a research project) compares methods and perceptions about the information obtained from networks of future journalists from Brazil, Spain and Portugal. Among the most relevant conclusions, a high use of these tools by Communication students in order to access news is shown, although the degree of skepticism about the veracity of its contents is remarkable. Perceptions of employment opportunities for people with disabilities (PwD) have been a widely discussed topic. The aim of this study was to analyze the associations between the ways in which the university perceive disabilities, antecedent factors - such as knowledge about disabilities and previous experience - and trust. The study was conducted with 800 students from four public universities, located in Minas Gerais. It was used the Conceptions of Disability Inventory, the survey of trust, and the sociodemographic questionnaire. It was found that perceptions about disability are associated with living with PwD with trust, as well as graduation. We conclude that determine the perception of the university on PwD brings important contributions to training, it assists in identifying issues that, if addressed, may influence the improvement of professional actions, and organizational policies related to disability. The study of motivation has shown important value in the comprehension of the process of teaching and learning. The self-determination theory comprehend that human being is moved by satisfaction of basic psychological needs such autonomy, competence and belonging, having motivational styles that goes from demotivation to an intrinsically motivated behavior. The aim of the present article was to investigate the motivation to learn in 20 undergraduate students of Psychology in a private university in the city of São Paulo. The results corroborate the literature once the students presented motivational profiles more autonomously motivated, and the existence of different motivational orientations simultaneous. Was discovered a significant importance of the participation of environmental factors such as teacher and task value in promoting motivation to learn, rescuing the need for an education that makes possible the connection between theory and professional practice enabling to have a sense of what is learned. The university has now shown as a place of intellectual growth, building prospects and social life. Current studies show that humor and social skills are the key to an effective communication for professional growth and psychological well-being of individual and group. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between social skills and mood in college students. Participated 167 students, that filled the sense of Humor Scale Situational and the Social Skills Inventory. The results showed that the humor is associated with social skills and that "humor with friends and colleagues" can be considered a predictor of some factors of social skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Literature shows that there are significant associations between health and happiness. Various countries are considering, contemplating or formally incorporating the happiness variable into their public health policies. Moreover, the private sector has shown interest in the topic. Based on that This article examines the biases in the perception of satisfaction with life among young adults in two Brazilian cities. The study explores the associations between aspects of life and perception of happiness because public policies associated with happiness require an improved understanding of the subjectivity of the sense of well-being. A survey conducted among 368 college students enabled analysis through Multivariate Analysis of Covariance (MANCOVA) and linear regression. The results suggest that, although there were no significant differences in general satisfaction with life between the two cities, there were indications of focusing illusion in the perception of happiness caused by expectations arising from the feeling of personal insecurity in a metropolis. We aimed to find out the perceptions of undergraduate students regarding the visibility of the nursing course. A qualitative and exploratory approach was applied, through the technique of interviews with nineteen undergraduate students of the courses of Nursing, Medicine, Physical Education and Psychology in a Federal University in southern Brazil. Data were submitted to analysis under the discursive textual analysis. Seeking perceptions among undergraduate students of different courses led us to distinguished views concerning the nursing course and its visibility, providing us with meaningful considerations towards the practices of these professionals.
